Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The fact you don't even comprehend the bold above is hilarious. We've literally just gone through it twice with Eze and Semenyo.

As I've mentioned previously, you're the fella that tells his mates down the pub Spurs are as big as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United, then has absolutely no idea why he's being mocked and whinges on here about other fans laughing at us, as if you aren't the very reason.

There is a pecking order in football whether you like it or not.

When we win the CL or Prem, I'll put us right up there where you think we are currently. But because of that we aren't elite yet, just like Woolwich.

I appreciate you abandoning the ''London is alluring because of the nightlife'' narrative you were pushing though. You're learning.

Watching Palace Fulham still don’t see the deal with Wharton. He’s nowhere near the money people are talking about. Strolling around with his socks down, the game passes him by a lot of the time and he can get caught on the ball too. Don’t think he’s got the quick feet or change of pace to get himself out of trouble consistently and off the ball he doesn’t get out of a languid jog. The odd great pass and being left footed really clouding everything else.unpopular opinion no doubt but I really think he’d be a mistake

You're a proper little slimeball aren't you. Forever taking cheap shots from the sidelines.

How would you know how I celebrated the Europa League win you fucking slug.

Why should I be compelled to explain my absence on an anonymous football forum for around 12 days (either side, btw) of that wonderful night in the Basque Country.

You have absolutely no idea what personal events disrupted my life last May and you never, ever fucking will.

Here's an idea. Instead of taking every opportunity to open your vile mouth on the issue, think ....what was our closest night to the glory of Bilbao? Without doubt, it was the beautiful miracle of Amsterdam.

I dare you to dig out that thread from that glorious night and it's aftermath and read through my posts.

I was one the most maniacal, proliferous, joyous posters on this forum and it's all there for you to see.

I've let your constant sniping (and others) slide for the last 8 months due to the events that preceded. Not anymore. Not now it's 2026 and you're still setting the bait.

So get back in your box and stfu once and for all
Not Honest John Honest John throwing his toys out the pram for baiting someone. Alexa, play Alanis Morrisette.

No way is the board's biggest agitator having a crashout over the most minor of agitations.

Your initial post on the thread was calling posters "a bunch of losers" after yesterdays saying "a raft of losers". You absolute mushroom.

90% of your posts is you giving it large to posters way worse than that comment.

That last sentence in your post, take your own advice.

Palace losing Glasner, Guehi, Wharton and replacing them with Johnson standard of transfers.

Put them down for a relegation dogfight next season.

But I don't thinkJohnson will go there if afterspeaking to Glasner,he doesn't get some assurances.

I suspect any so-called talks are as much to stoke other interest as much as seeking some commitment from Glasner or whoever Johnson and his team might be talking to.

If not he might just sit tight, although Johnson doesn't strike me as the type who will sit in the 'cold' and just draw his salary.

Johnson must or should also be looking at himself in all this, and whilst he might be disappointed he should also realise that both his international and club managers have taken him out of their starting line-ups.

It's now for him to ensure his carreer doesn't fall into a downward spiral.

He's Pirlo.

But Pirlo needed Ambrosini and Gattuso to really shine.

Wharton next to what we currently have would struggle to work.

Now, if we got Baleba with him?

That's a double pivot that could work.

I agree, players that we are talking about now like Semenyo, Mitoma and N'dyaie have all initially signed for non top tier premier league clubs. I think the problem is that when a player is as good as Semenyo and we are trying to buy premier league proven players we are not as attractive as Man City, Liverpool or even A***nal...
The thing is, we pay world class, elite level Ticket prices...
We deserve to see world class, elite level football players...

As I said. It's in the cubs hands. Pay them the money, show them how we have the facilities and the resources and most importantly the will and determination to compete for the major honours and they'll find us equally attractive.

Cowering away and meekly accepting some place among the Brentfords, Palaces and other mid table also rans is, quite frankly scandalous for a club of our size and wealth.

The ultimate disingenuous, slimy internet tosser calling anyone else slimy is hilarious....... Happy New Year indeed. :roflmao:

Mentioned a few times, but think a signing like Mitoma makes a lot of sense.

He's 28 and would go straight into the first team, allowing Odobert / Tel to develop. Once he hits his 30s they should be in a position to step up.

Think his contract is up either this year or next to wouldn't cost an arm and a leg.
I watched him a bit v West Ham and he was anonymous. Think he’s regressed personally
