Im.not a fan of Gallagher at all but its about our level right now and hes needed.
£35 mil is about right now for a "run around alot " midfielder.
Suits spurs as in a couple of years he will still be worth £35 mil so for spurs hierarchy and accountancy dept which owns the fucking club now this is a "gimme " signing as wages are made from.yearly cash flow ..
I guess someone in the non football dept will get a bonus.

60 years supporting this club and its come to this...last visit to the lane and goodbye will be the city game ( even then i will probably stay in the pub)...im.done

Have Spurs signed a player, are now not going to sign any more players, until the end of the window, when we have forgotten about this signing, and are losing our shit?

:gallashmm:

Or;

Are ENIC going to keep going and get a couple more in?

And you wonder why the likes of Conte erupted at the meddling little git. It was never a case of getting who the manager wanted in, or what was best for the team.

It always had to be the Daniel Levy show.

On the bright side he is laying in the footballing gutter having been urinated on by his fellow owners . At least that’s how I choose to think of him

I think the club needs to stick to a direction, and employ managers and players to suit it, rather than chopping and changing everything for a new manager. If Frank likes Gallagher well that's fine but I don't think he's the sort of manager we want with all this cautiousness. If the club (and it should) opt for a more free-flowing, possession based, attacking football, then it needs to get players for that. I'm not suggesting Gallagher isn't that but fuck what Frank wants if he's being sacked at the end of the season.

IMO, Gallagher is the sort of player who could fit in at most clubs. He's not particularly unique. He's just a really hard working combative midfielder. Which should mean he can play under most coaches.

Just hang in for wee while longer Poch will be back in the summer.

He looked in wonderful when we played them. Would be a 10/10 signing but I’m not sure if we get him in Jan.

He looked bright for spells; but worth remembering it was against US..... Who aren't exactly playing at a high level right now.

...And he/they still drew a blank.

Would he get snuffed out by the Scum etc..... That's the question.

''Bissouma has been dealing with severe depression, having not played a single minute with Tottenham this season, but he was a regular figure for his country during the AFCON, competing hard in midfield before being sent off in the final game. It remains to be seen what role Bissouma will hold once back with the Spurs, since he does not appear to be in the plans of coach Thomas Frank, and his future remains blurry for the time being.''

That can't be right can it? Someone flying 100s of miles to play football whist suffering from severe depression?

Gallagher ...
Does he improve us? Yes.
Does he provide more leadership to the spine of our team? Yes.
Is he home grown / association trained? Yes.
Is he experienced / will he hit the ground running? Yes.
Does he have a resale value? Yes.

... lots of ticks in the right boxes. Not great squad building to a vision by any means, but an opportunistic signing of a player who became available that improves our first team and makes us better. Crack on.

Our medicals historically take 48 hours. Then our media team takes a week to film a 5 word introduction.
And our medical team are standing by to get stuck in.
