Even Chris Armstrong scored 48 league goals in 141 league appearances for the club.

Solanke has a total with all his clubs combined in the Premier League of 38 goals in 163 appearances.

I've no idea why Liverpool bought him as he didn't play that much or score much - and he didn't do much initially at Bournemouth, but seemed to get himself back on track when they were in Championship.

Probably fairer to look at his last 2 seasons (last one at Bournemouth and his season at Spurs where he got just over 20 goal involvements. Its not stunning but its not bad either and there were not better alternatives available at time. He is a hard worker though and presses like a demon which opens up opportunities for other Spurs players close to opposition goal so he's got that going for him.

Woolwich went for Gyokeres whose stats were far worse at a higher price, and same for Isak at Liverpool despite a fee of circa 100m. We have definitely done better than either Woolwich or Liverpool with Solanke than their choices.

I always laugh when the Frank defenders use Solanke missing as though it was prime Harry Kane. They give off that our strikers can't score, despite Richy exceeding his XG in the league by 2.4 goals, which suggests he doesn't get many chances because our awful set up, but is actually quite clinical. And then there was Solanke last year who underperformed by 3 goals. That is not a defence of Richy either, but using Solanke as this missing X factor is desperately grasping at straws.

I reckon Solanke chose the wrong sport and could have been a very decent Rugby League player.

He's not a particularly skilful footballer. He scored 9 goals in the PL for Spurs last season, and 19 for Bournemouth the season prior, So that's 28 of his 38 Premier League goals in total. So he may as well not have existed as a CF before that.

No need to be such an uptight lil bitch.

One can both have disdain for you and remain chill... Trust me. It's happening as I type.......

You say we needed another LB and that explains the Souza signing.
So do you believe he will get meaningful PL minutes this season?

With Odogie back... Possibly none.

...But I guess you struggled with the first sentence of my OG post; so can we conclude "thick" ought to have been your answer all along?

Flamengo are in talks for Richarlison.

Player more accepting to the move as he believes it will give him the best chance of playing at the World Cup.

One to watch.

If he doesn't sign a new contract over the next month or two, his head has been turned.4

That all said, he's under contract and the club will be looking (or should be) north of eighty million.
Yeah, Harry Maguire went for £80 million and that was in 2019, VVD £75 million in 2018 - tells you how important a Defender is to a team , I would hope we are doing everything we can to convince him that we are looking to build that kind of team if not then I really wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave and my only hope would be he goes abroad, if he wants to stay in the UK maybe do a deal with City so with them winning its the lesser of the evils so to speak.
