Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Unpleasant.

Reminds me of my teenage supporting days when this is what we would do. Get old cast offs on the cheap from the top 4;.

Thought we'd move well past that, but I guess our league position certainly suggests we've gone back to that era of redknapp, Gallas, poyet etc

Sad Jim Carrey GIF

He’s certainly the profile of player mentality wise we should be targeting, but surely the guy has run out of juice to play at the highest level

He’s 31 mate. Given we’re likely paying peanuts for him, if we get even a couple of good years out of him, he’ll still be our best value transfer in donkeys years.

Mentality wise, he’s a million miles ahead of every single player at the club, I say that without even the slightest fear of contradiction . I know the term gets thrown about a lot, but he’s a proper winner, if that mentality rubs off on even half the squad then he’s well worth signing.

Even at 31, he’s still levels above a fit Udogie. He might coming past his peak now, but you’re still talking about a guy who was probably the best left back in the world for a decent chunk of time.

I’ll be chuffed to bits if we do sign him.

Totally agree with you

He was a quality player, is he any good now?! Playing at that intensity under klopp breaks players. It happened with poch and spurs as well. Who has left pool after playing for klopp and actually done well?!

He can’t get in the team ahead of Kerkez, and you’re saying he’s levels above a fit Udogie?

I’ve read it all now

Don't mind the Robertson signing at all. Experience, good pro and is ideal cover for Udogie.

Still need an attacker to come in, but as far as adding some experience then Robertson and Gallagher are good additions.
