Surely everyone could stop buying club merchandise for one season. Hitting the club in shirt revenue etc has got to make them sit up and take notice.
I'm sure we could all go without Spurs stuff for a year but no need not to attend matches.
Put it out on the internet so that overseas sales are also stopped. You have to stab Levy where he bleeds...in the wallet.

Clubs earn almost nothing from each shirt they sell.

They get paid an annual fee by the manufacturer, it is the manufacturer/retail outlet that earns the vast majority of the money from each shirt sale.

Yep, clubs earn between 5% and 10% commission per shirt, but that is about it, so the commission element is not much really.

We earn I believe £15m as a fixed fee per annum from Nike, and sell about 500k shirts globally.
Yeah the big money isn't just for the advertising value of being on the shirts, it's for the right to sell those shirts as well.

And of course, being the outfitter for a giant football club means providing the club no small amount of gear as a part of the deal as well.

The big word here is unity.

Levy Out has been a minority of hipster message board posters for the most part. What's needed is fan unity around demands for change.

Fan unity around dissatisfaction with the current way things are going is a start, and we've gotten there.

Don't underestimate how genuinely happy with the club many of the fans have been during much of ENIC's tenure, and with some plausible justification. Obviously that is in the process of sharply changing, so that's an opportunity to present a more united front.

Didn't realise that, thanks for the information. Surely though, if nobody purchased any Spurs merchandise next season, not so much as a keyring ,it would make them sit up and take notice.
I found this link regarding sales in which commercial revenue includes sponsorship and merchandising revenue. You can see in 2018/19 it totalled 151.9 million euros and in 2019/20 went up to 183 million euros. Can we not try and make a big dent in that ??

Walk outs mid game or things like turning your back to the game are decent options. A lot of Bundesliga fans did that when they protest Monday night games, and they got rid of them.

If possible also try to smuggle in banners. And keep protesting outside of the ground and training ground.

If you want to go extreme you could always go the Sporing Lisbon route. Nabil Bentaleb Nabil Bentaleb can probably give everyone a run down of that circus from a few years ago.

I detest some of the bastards that play in the club but wouldn’t hit them with baseball bats just yet.

What was the final outcome of that.
The players that left them claiming a free transfer, did Sporting get paid a transfer fee or not ?

Commercial revenues is shirt sponsorship. pitch advertising, the Nike deal, partnerships, licencing fees etc. in the main.
They are long term deals.
Merchandising was £22m of that figure, that is really the only short term hit, but in grand scheme of things, not a big deal.

They certainly got paid for Patricio, Bruno and Bas Dost. A few more as well I believe.

And it was obviously said in jest. Please don't attack the players.

Break into the training center to put up a flag, sure. But don't physically attack anyone ffs.

Bruno withdrew his resignation and carried on playing for them for 2 years.

Just read up, they in effect got market value for the players that just walked out on the club.

Therefore as market value we should threaten a few players we want out, that don't want to leave, and get them to find a new club. :)

Just kidding obviously

Patricio went for about 18 mil. But he also took it to court because the Sporting president at the time pulled out of the deal once everything was agreed so that may have affected it.

They got paid stupid money for Bruno of course.
