I’m flabbergasted that he still has a job. Directors have a fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of a company. These clowns have completely abdicated their roles and bear full responsibility for the current implosion of the club.

Years of neglect are coming home to roost.

Being a Spurs fan is emotionally exhausting. The exhilarating joy of winning the Europa has been completely wiped out by the unforgivable appointment of a man who is prime example of the Peter Principle in action. It is soul destroying right now.

IIRC PEH was loaned out with an option to buy in the first January transfer window in Postecoglou's tenure.

It's a odd one because the few times he was brought on as a substitution he did well with helping to hold onto a lead, and had a good professional relationship with Bentancur which was founded under Conte. Yet he wasn't in Postecoglou's plans and he says he likes younger ambitious players, so he gets Bergvall and Gray, and yet his fanboys still complain about it,.

What a sad waste of value- PEH could probably still be useful for us now.

Ange playing Royal, not keeping Eric and loaning Lanks last season cost him his job.

Postecoglou probably felt he had enough with Bentancur, Bissouma and Sarr, with the two young lads as back ups, he chose to offload Dier who's a versatile player being a CB or CMF, and PEH who's a steady player and useful when the MF is all hands to the pump trying to maintain a lead.

They weren't in Postecoglou's plans, that's why they were moved on and replaced with the young ambitious type players that he says he likes, Gray and Bergvall.

So the point is, even though I'm Levy out, ENIC out, I'm not going to argue Levy or ENIC dealt Postecoglou a worse hand than any other manager.
 
We are in a similar situation to last season at this time. Low down in the PL, doing well in Europe and loads of injuries. That suggests the problem is not the Manager as that has changed. The differences this year is that we are unlikely to win the CL, we are missing the players likely to score goals to win matches rather than defenders & the fans are unhappy with the style of play and creating a toxic atmosphere both home & away.

We should not sack Frank before Wednesday as it is so important. The owners want to give Frank longer but lose Sunday against MC whilst not in itself a disgrace but they cannot allow the toxic atmosphere to continue and he should go the next day being the last day of the transfer window. I have little confidence in them being able to get someone good in before the summer but they just have no option but to try and they should be sounding people out as soon as the players get on that plane on Tuesday.

Mainly the ones who don't spend their time on the forum harping on about how our last disastrous manager was let down so badly by being given youngsters in his second season after stating he wanted young ambitious players and previously decided to offloaded Dier and PEH.

Dunno, maybe it's the post Christmas blues or something.

You're so Deranged you're now excusing ENIC for the Summer 24 window simply because in your fevered imagination it might reflect well on the manager at the time. You would cut your own cock off to spite Postecoglou's face - that's how deranged you are.

The point is, as ever, that ALL our managers have been let down in Transfer window after Transfer window - with the possible exception of Summer 23 (also Postecoglou FWIW).

Oh... and for the record it's very well known that Postecoglou wanted Gallagher, Neto and Eze in Summer 24. He got Gray and Odobert. I think they are good prospects but 1st team ready they were not.

But what's the point talking to an ENIC excusing Deranger like you. You completely jumped the shark, mate.
