He still has my backing but, fuck me, he needs to start coaching some attacking plays. Because there were NONE today.

Honestly, I don't see us getting anything from United or Woolwich so we are gonna slide down the league.

The club is such a basket case.
 
Maybe we should stop playing this fucking SHIT formation we’ve been playing for 3 years now. Ange played this 4-3-3 setup rain or shine every fucking match and now Frank comes in and is supposedly a flexible tactician and all he does is play the same setup with less risk.

Our best performances, preseason or not, all came when we switched up the formation.

Neither of them really at fault for that goal..
In my eyes, blame is on useless Simons. A simple ball cotrol and move forward....instead he passes the ball backwards and passes badly too...so no wonder ball was won by Caicedo. Sometimes ,problem is not the player who is robbed but the one who made the bad pass first
 
I'm torn at the moment between thinking Frank is having to work with a very weakened squad, and also thinking he should be doing far better than this in terms of performances, even with such a weakened squad.

And I am now veering to the latter.

At the end of the day, the displays, particuarly at home have been utter turgid.

Newcastle was shite. Everton away we won 3 nil but we still looked proper shit.

There's not really been many performances to think, yeah we are building something. We need to start showing improvement quick, because Frank will be under pressure, rightly so, if he doesn't change this sharpish.

That performance today was unforgiveable.
 
This isn't me calling for the sacking of Frank, but I wonder if it may be a reasonably easy decision for the new hierarchy at the club to make when necessary.

Thomas Frank was a Daniel Levy appointment, probably his last major decision he made for Spurs.

With the so called new passion to win things (😂) from the board, they could use the new broom excuse and all that to wield the axe.
 
The fact that he was just mugged off by two players says it all.

Well your eyes need checking. All 3 were at fault, Spence the least of the bunch.

Imagine if every under hit pass that a defender still got clear possession of turned into a goal. There’d be 30 a match.

Its stupid to blame VDV & Spence on this. Ofcourse they are involved in the lead up to the goal. They have often put off many other fires so its normal they couldnt do it one of the situation. The real issue here is the stupid Simons keep making same mistakes again & again & again...so this kind of goal was a matter of time.

It’s stupid to blame this Simons mistake because he made other mistakes. You have to assess the moment as an isolated event.

Simons was poor over the entirety of the match but VdV is responsible to never lose the ball there.
