The problem with this is that everything on SC is an absolute load of nonsense. There has been some stuff on SC this evening.
Trix reckons that Lewis family want to do things different from Levy and want stability, so the plan was to give Frank time as they expected it would take time to turn around and bring success.
Hercules has said he's heard conflicting reports about Frank having the support of the heirachy and that there are serious concerns.
Doesn't really tell us much, but in my experience when you start getting whispers like this, managers don't last long.
Then again, we've not been run by someone other than Levy for decades, so we don't know if the club might do what United have done with Amorim and just give Frank time regardless.
Even so, I can't see how any manager survives terrible football and results for long.
Tbh the Trix things rings true - they won't want to be seen as knee-jerky and have staked their reputation on Frank. It's absolutely in their best interests to be patient and give him time. Especially given the dearth of quality alternatives available. They'll wait until things are beyond repair to sack him. There has been some stuff on SC this evening.

Apparently that ceeding possecion outside the box happened at Brentford. So much for learning from mistakes when stuck with your phases. No patterns going forward - no magic from Kudus and we are toothless.
On the other hand pattern of ignoring area outside our penalty box and concedeing goals from there.
Switched to being an outer. But only if Vicario, Porro, Bentancur, Johnson, Richarlison and couple others follows him as well.

There's always a tipping point, though, and if we're slipping towards the relegation places and he loses the dressing room they'll have no choice but to bin him. Unlike last season, there is a genuine (small) possibility of relegation this season. West Ham and Leeds are miles better than the 3 relegated teams last year and if we go into freefall and lose the next 2-3 games we're officially in relegation form.
Once again a match vs Brentford could decide his future.
if what we think is true and the lewis family fired levy and want to do things differently then wouldn't they want to fire levy's hire? but then again, if you're going to fire levy to do things differently then why let him run the summer transfer window and hire the new manager? none of this really makes sense to me.
Not sure what he needs time for he hasn’t said. What was broken ? All we needed was someone to organise the team so we weren’t so open. His failed to do that. We look totally uncoached just like under Ange.Dyche outcoaching Frank in less time is seriously not a good look, he's preaching that he needs time but how much time has Dyche had?

The board and Vinai were clearly heavily involved in Frank's appointment. Levy was also a big part of it but I got the sense it was a collective decision this time - I don't think he's "Levy's guy" by any means. If anything Vinai - who the board cherry picked as Levy's de facto successor - was the one going on about how Frank ticked every box, etc.if what we think is true and the lewis family fired levy and want to do things differently then wouldn't they want to fire levy's hire? but then again, if you're going to fire levy to do things differently then why let him run the summer transfer window and hire the new manager? none of this really makes sense to me.

He's done...
Football 365, givemesport and several Spanish outlets reporting the board met tonight and have been weighing up replacing Frank with Xavi. I don't see him surviving the week. Expect Matt Wells to take charge until they can get Xavi deal done and then Wells can take the Colorado Rapids job.
From what I heard Levy and a consortium from Qatar (inc Staveley) are planning a hostile takeover of the club - and the Lewis lads are holding firm. Him stepping down as Chairman was required under the rules.
A lot more going on behind the scenes; and I suspect the Lewis group also wants full control and to force Levy out of ENIC.
Sounds like a load of conspiracy/fantasist nonsense to me. How could they possibly maneuver a hostile takeover if The Lewis Family are the majority shareholders? And a club purposefully hiring a 'bad' manager? It's a football club, not the plot line of the bloody Producers. Far more likely a case of Hanlon's Razor and they simply picked the wrong bloke. From what I heard Levy and a consortium from Qatar (inc Staveley) are planning a hostile takeover of the club - and the Lewis lads are holding firm. Tin Foil Hat Time.
Could poor performances on the pitch 'devalue' the club and make a takeover easier? Ange was fired for getting Spurs back in the Champions Leage and winning a trophy (was the success being punished?)
Frank was always going to be a midtable coach. Was that the plan all along to force Levy to sell his shares under their value?

That said, Levy leading a hostile takeover of the club and taking over as chairman again is about the most darkly hilarious timeline imaginable. The fallout would truly be something to behold.
