Frank has never qualified for the CL by any means, he has no business piping up because he’s very lucky to have CL on his CV at all. He only has it because these players won the Europa League.

Qualificatio to the CL by any means is very different (I think) from being a CL quality side.

I did not expect 5th, having said 8th to 10th would represent progress and be in line with my expectation.

As for Frank's CV, again I don't care too much because if I remember correctly neither had Pochettino.

I just want to see our manager adding something of substance to the group of players, and that is not in evidence, and neither does any leap of faith make me believe it will happen.

Niether had Poch but he then proved it by qualifying for it WITH us. He’d also won trophies as a player before coaching.

Frank is speaking against us to try and take the pressure off himself

Is any of that untrue?

I’m hoping he’s trying to put some pressure on the board before the window opening.

If the powers that be think the squad is good enough to be in the Champions League then they’re delusional.
 
I ain’t having the team is to rubbish to compete.

We went to CL final and finished 4th with a midfield of Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and a way past his best Christian Eriksen (who couldn’t get a free kick over the wall or beat the first man from a corner)

To take away heightened expectation, if Frank believes it is that weight which is holding them back.

Hasn’t he sort of called them shit though? You know, “we were 17th last season and we’re not much better this one”. Not exactly winning them over if that is what he means

I agree but would you not also agree that he should focus on the here and now and what he's doing in his own role than continuously harp back to last season and refer to a team that finished in 17th as if it gives him some sort of free hit. "Oh it doesn't really matter how shit we are this season because last season we finished 17th"
 
The bottom line, for me, is that Frank is not up to doing the job at a club that should be top 5/6 every season and winning, or at least seriously in the mix for winning, trophies on a regular basus. Nothing in his career before coming here, suggested he would be good enough. Everything that has happened since he came demonstrates that he isn't. The more he flounders, the more he spoofs. It's time to let him go.

He simply explained the reality of the situation.

He told no lies.

Has the right to bring context to the situation in an attempt to orientate pundits/fans/journalists

I don't have a problem with it.

Frank is pretty frank about everything, so far, from what I've seen.

Seems to talk straight, for the most part.
