No dispute from me on any of that.

We are the fans. ENIC, the owners.

The performances need to improve, of that there is no question.

Frank needs a win on Wednesday or the grey clouds will start to look a bit ominous.
I mean, even a fully rotated side should be winning that game. No doubt it's going to be another huge fucking struggle.

Next weekend, losing to a united side we beat 4 times last year, is a game I am absolutely fucking dreading. And I get to get up at 4:30am for the honour 🙃

Story of Thomas Frank team.....

It all comes down his insanity of starting Palhinha & Bentancur pivot in every fucking game

It's frustrating that he continues to start this pair- AVB/Mourinho type stuff- while Bergvall and Sarr sit on the bench.

He is setting up 10 with two 6s behind, but needs 10-8-6 with more balance.

He thinks he can nick games 1-0 or draws at 1-1 while limiting his risk. But the limited upside of the offense is hurting us greatly when the defensive plan doesn't work out. And there is a very painful margin of error when you try to win points off 1 goal or less margins.

Hopefully Frank will consider all of this and opt for a better risk/reward profile to his tactics going forward. If not he probably ought to be eventually sacked.

bergvall isnt a sitting midfielder, neither is sarr, the only one we do have is gray, hes the one that needs to be given a chance, obviously hes injured now, but he should have been tested at least a month ago. palhinha needs someone who can play with cuteness, gray could be the one.

even if gray is, we still need to buy another. heavy investment is needed in jan, that footballing CM and a couple forwards.
Wasn't referring to Sarr or Bergvall being sitters.

Frank said Gray would have played against toon if wasn't injured.

I'm not hanging anything on him being the solution tho.

The reality is we have average options across that position to partner Pal.

Just what it is.

Yeah because that worked really well against the Toons didn’t it?! 😂

REALLY ?
Since I am only talking about creativity and able to get forward...Newcastle game ,Spurs had more possession and more shots on goal than Newcastle FWIW

Problem of sideways passing of a Bentancur- Palhinha midfield is well documented. Real issue is, both take similar positions, they dont offer themself for a pass in a different angle means they just play sideways to each other till end of game.

We were as bad as this -- if not worst at times -- last season.

Stop with the nonsense.

All you hyperbolic weirdo stfu trying to make out this was Armageddon. lol

It was shite, tho, for sure.
Last season we were playing with Gray and Davies at the back... Had 11 "senior" players to play week in week out. The squad is in a completely different place at present - albeit still with some injuries.

Away from home absolutely no problems with setting up how we do. At home we need to be more expansive. Not helped by having shit forwards but he's not helping himself with how he's setting up the midfield. That today was an absolute fucking abomination and he needs to come up with a solution soon because that carries on I will lose faith in him quickly.

We’ve got f’all threat going forward so the little hope we have is to make us harder to beat.

Nah, nah, nah we had players come back from injury and were still fucking shite.

Stop with the bullshit.

And this season Frank hasn't had Kulu, Solanke, Maddison.

Gtfo

Today was shit, but don't talk shit.

You put bergvall next to pal... he'll give the ball away in the middle and be ill-disciplied.

You play Sarr next to him... meh.

There Is no solution.

Other than transfer windows.
Nonsense- both are fine players with more upside to come. They need a chance to play, make mistakes and learn. Far far better use of minutes long term than persisting with Benta, but Frank I guess is too daft to have realized that yet.

glad bentancur got booed when he went backwards earlier, he didn't need to go back but thats his instincts kicking in. how frank has kept that partnership going in these home games is beyond me.

started the season with sarr, gray and bergvall in a midfield 3...thought we was actually going to be brave in games.

Both are ok/good players who are inconsistent and have the odd stand-out performance, but both have flaws.

Fine players???

What's going on here.

Bergvall has potential to be a fine player, sure.

Far off it though.

Lots of work still to do for him.

Of Frank, it's exactly the test he needed.

Brentford was comfortable. We will see what he is made of, who he gets to help him, what he does, the players he jettison and the players he wants in January and beyond, if he lasts that acid test of time.

I refuse to say he should go as we sit 3rd but recognise we must see something more progressive and hopeful.

Losing to the filth however us not something unusual so let's be cautious about attaching too much into the usual result.
