Anyone but Frank until the end of the season is what I meant.

We play all the deadbeats in January and we need to get the three points in all these games.

Continuing with Frank could get us into relegation trouble.

We were battered today by Forest.

He's never going to be good enough.

He should never have been given the job.
I don't buy the relegation argument as a reason to sack him. We're not very good but we'll comfortably get to 40 points under him.

No point bringing in another stop gap. We'd be better off just seeing it through with Frank and then starting fresh in the summer and aiming to get someone genuinely top quality rather than turning the season into yet another circus. I think that hurts out chances of attracting a proper manager in the summer.

My caveat being, if we do end up in a genuine relegation battle or everything gets completely toxic then the above goes out the window and we'll have no choice but to bin him.

Don't get me wrong I think you'd be right, but how long would a bounce last for?

I don't think Frank is a bad manager but what he got at Brentford was time, something managers unfortunately do not get anymore.

Most people were happy with his appointment, I don't lay all the blame down to him and for me it's too simplistic to think that.

We are seriously hampered by a lack of CF and a decent LW. The ball just keeps coming back.

Yes agree. I was pretty neutral about his appointment. There were others Id of definitely preferred.

There is a lot of weeding out to do but I fear the job is too big for him

He's a Brentford mentality stamped all over him.

For anyone who is hoping Frank won't be here next month Trix over at SC has said he gets this season at least.
This is best indication yet that he might not be here much longer

We are in a genuine relegation battle now.

There are teams below us who have beaten us easily.

Forest today Fulham and Bournemouth.

We are shit and cannot afford to give this chump any more time.

He's failed the audition.

In a season where Woolwich will challenge for the title we cannot play Russian Roulette, regarding relegation, with this clown after today.

Fuck him off and lift the morale.

Who do you regard as decent in the first 11; never mind the squad?
Problem is we would have a different first eleven and different definitions of decent. All these players are decent or they wouldn't be internationals would they?
If you reframe the question then I would build a team around Romero, VDV, Vuskovic
Udogie, Kudus, Simons, Gray and Maddison. Id play 3-4-2-1 and turn Kudus into a RWB. Udogie as LWB. Gray + a top quality CM then Simons and Maddison scheming behind a quality 9. Need a top GK too. I'd keep Bergvall too.

Probably get a ton of stick but we can't sell/release 25 players and buy 25 new players.

My biggest concerns with appointing Frank were that he had been at Brentford too long and become stuck in his ways and was just too comfortable. But mainly it was that Brentford are just a really well run club that much like Brighton can flip between managers with no real fall off. Dean Smith got the Villa gig after doing decent at Brentford and Mark Warburton went to Rangers and both bombed. The clubs and the set up are the star asset at Brentford and its why despite having lost Wissa, Mbeumo, Norgaard and appointing Keith Andrews who has no managerial experience they are carrying on much like before.

I'd take these people a lot more seriously if they didn't spend all of last season making excuses for Ange and accusing anyone who criticized him of not being a true fan.

Fuck me, the chutzpah :D

When you've stopped gaslighting and feeling sorry for yourself you might want to acknowledge that the reality of this forum is that anyone who dared simply support the previous manager - just like you're now (rightly) demanding we support Frank - was dismissed and mocked as a "Cultist" to the point that most were driven from the forum. Even the dedicated "positivity" thread for those who wanted to support Postecoglou in the darkest times last winter was regularly infested with abuse.

I see you're now bemoaning our sacky sack culture. I complete agree. One of us is consistent at least

He need to change something, show some guts.

Dropping Vicario should be natural move. Waking call for players that feel too comfortable, and on the other hand you can't tell its not justified.

Porro on the bench, Spence as RB and Micky on the left could be tried as well - Porro is shit these days and come on, Ben Davies still getting any PL minutes as full back in 2025?

Prolly won't help that much cause we are completely toothless in possession, our midfield is mess, and Richarlison is still there getting major minutes. But at least Frank could show he is trying something new to fight for his job, not just standard rotation.

Frank is too pussy to challenge any of the senior players

Romero will be lucky to play 30 league games over the season, is prone to errors, lapses of concentration and yellow cards.

Udogie has the same disease regarding missing games.

Gray is a utility man who excels at nothing.

Maddison is finished at Spurs. He's not here this season and by the time he comes back will be closer to 30 than 29 and recovering from a serious injury.

Spurs can currently only rely on VDV, Spence, Palhinha, Kudus and Muani to be available most of the time and achieve the same / similar level of performance in every game.

Every other player misses too many games through injury or suspension, has discipline problems, is error prone or inconsistent.

Some of them are just utter gash and should never have been signed for the club.

We need to wake up.

We have a group of mainly shit players, many of whom think they are better than they are, managed by a man who is out of his depth and comfort zone, who is being taken for a mug by several senior players.

Spurs are a disaster.

A rudderless ship.

Yeah I do get that, but Ange had these players last season trying to play an 'attacking' brand of football which eventually resulted in us finishing 17th and winning a cup based on some of the worst football we have seen.

Would we have better results with Solanke, Maddison and Kulu fit? Who knows but one thing is for sure I think we'd be better going forward.

Frank needs some kind of time like all managers do, we sack him and believe me the next manager would come in and face the same issues.

Don't get me wrong, Frank probs has things to answer for but at the same time some of the players are really not helping themselves.

Some of our players are average but most of the teams above us have average players in their squads and they aren’t as bad at football as we are. Everton beat Forest 3-0 last week with Barry up front and Keane at CB, there is no excuse for what we are currently showing.

Tbh i get vibe some of the players dont rate frank. Have to be honwst when we hired him was like a lead balloon.
theyve been publicly disrespecting him from pretty much the off. VDV and spence gave him the cold shoulder in front of everyone months back. ive noticed loads of times the players treating him like shit when they walk past after being subbed or whatever, bunch of cunts to be honest. not sure who they think they are, fuck the lot of them, 80% of them are shit and will only go backwards from here.

I think you are right about the thought of the players.

I thought Frank's appointment was fine but I think it's more about his methods and messaging that have become the issue.

There appears little in terms of belief, fear or respect

I don't see how that can translate to success, and today's display should have alarm bells ringing where it matters most.
