Imagine you are one of his players and instead of attempting to build confidence when you are struggling, he's there kicking you when you are down and saying you don't deserve to be in the Champions League because all you did was win a trophy?

He’s not wrong but this is typical Danish bluntness, you shouldn’t be saying these things publicly even though we all know it’s true. Just another example of how his personality doesn’t really mesh with the expectations of a big club. He needs to be much more careful with what he says.
Telling the players they don’t belong in the CL is not going to improve their performance.

Frank is right and we did not buy the right players to take us into that top 5 but so what.
That's entirely different from achieving 1 win in 10 PL games, having added some players.
Whilst it was always unrealistic to think we would finish 5th, which some posters thought, I did not expect us to be languishing either.
At the moment Frank is adding the VAT rate on children's clothing.

You are a CL club because you qualified via one of the official mechanisms to qualify. Thats it.
Frank has never qualified for the CL by any means, he has no business piping up because he’s very lucky to have CL on his CV at all. He only has it because these players won the Europa League.
