Today changes nothing but its a big win and takes some pressure off Frank and the players.
The problem with today is that we literally set up like an inferior team and parked the bus. Scored from a set piece against the run of play and then Palace had to push for the goal and this suited us. We defended deep but had loads of holes to exploit them in the second half and actually looked the most likely team to score in the final 30 mins.
But this doesn't address or solve any of our problems. We are too passive and once we go a goal down then we usually have no way back into the game. Thankfully we nicked a goal today and that changed everything. Frank still has everything to work on but a timely boost for everyone.

As an aside, it's pretty interesting how this is the first year in three where we don't have half the defense out with hamstring injuries. I wonder what's changed...

Glasner has the lowest possession % out of any team this season. I'm not sure Spurs fans wouldn't be happy with that.

I think I get it.
I'm fickle. We were terrible today, but we got three points. If we manage a four points return from the Brentford and Sunderland matches, I might begin to give Frank the benefit of the doubt. I'd probably switch from wanting him out now, to giving him the rest of the season. Maybe I'm just a little giddy from seeing us rise from the depths of 14th to the heady heights of 11th. Either that or I'm more drunk than I thought.

Compared to 23/24, equivalent matches, it looks like we're not actually that far off the pace? Lost 2 games more than we'd won that season

I don't get why people are having such a hard time over what he said.
The Brentford point is dumb as fuck, because top 3 in the championship is on form for which club should be promoted.
Same as top 4 in the PL usually gets CL and justifies it - not bottom 4 (which we were)
And yet Frank with all his defenders available most of the time still only conceded 3 less goals at this point than the hamstrung mix and mashed defence last season lol.
