My first post! Hi everyone.

That was fun! Depths at half time followed by a proper game of football. Credit Frank for a change of formation, good subs but mainly a proper structure to our play.

I like him. I don't love him yet but it feels like there's a grown up at the helm. We looked like a good team with a good spirit but crucially we looked like we had nous and controlled aggression.

Props to the boys who suffered in the first half: Bissouma, Dragusin, Gray. Kept going and adapted.

Oh, and a worldie! I'm alone in a bar in Cairo and made a right tit of myself when that went in. COYS!
Wecome fella

It would've great if this minor uptick in form could've come at the start of January when we had a winnable run of games, instead of now when it looks pretty bleak.

The Spammer result is still the one that pisses me off the most.

I think he's right.

The board will look for any excuse to keep him. That second half and any other good performance will be used as evidence by them to stick by Frank.
They can't and they shouldn't. If we get 15th or 16th it wouldn't be an improvement over last season, not even 12th honestly, when we wouldn't have a cup this season to show for. It's considered really dreadful and they shouldn't be keeping him while boasting how ambitious they are.

I don’t think anyone disagrees, first 45 was Frankball and we need to be rid of it.

But at least the players showed that they have some life in them and gave some hope for improvement under the next manager.

Honestly it makes me sad 😆

Like 'heres what you could have won' on a gameshow, where they show you the Carribbean holiday and new car, then hand you a new kettle

There is real potential in these players, and the longer Frank is here the harder it is to see

It wasn’t route 1, it was running through Xavi most of the time. Direct, sure but route 1 was the first half.

Whatever the plan was first half is the reason I’m still Frank out. If get that second half more often, I’m open to seeing what he can do

By and large it was, very direct, even with Xavi

The best stuff we played was certainly through Xavi though

But fuck mate that wasn't a half of good football

I get what you’re saying from a team quality perspective we were will disjointed and not sure what the next man was going to do.

Big players made plays though

Xavi was class
Solanke was class
I really like Palinha as a CB

Quality players did indeed do quality things

None of which, for me, had any underlying influence from Frank

(Aside from Palinha in defence, but that was forced on him)

Yet again Frank started with a formation that showed a complete lack of courage .
Gave way too much respect to MC and we paid for it .
I would rather have started with 10 men than have Bissouma in the middle , the guy is a complete liability and just plain fucking lazy .
The first half defending was naive and lazy .
Unfortunately I just can't give Frank any credit for the "comeback" , simply shouldn't have been in that position to start with , yet again .
We need and deserve better .
And I wanted him here but happily put my hand up that I got it wrong .

Remember he was brought in to enable us to battle for trophies on multiple fronts.

Realistically, barring a miracle in the Champions League, our season is over.

He's bumbling through by accident - if Romero wasn't 'ill', would he have changed that much?

I hate that he said 'we got the result' about today. The result we want is a win. It was a good point considering the first half but the first half was beyond unacceptable.

What he said made my blood boil. This clown needs constant reminding that he’s the manager of Tottenham and not Brentford. Idiot

Whilst I don't think he's doing a good enough job, he's done better in the league than last season, and better than we've been in the CL for a long time, and the injuries and play availability would have probably seen barely any difference in outcome from other managers.

People are a bit hung up on the 'personality' though
