We're about to win three on the bounce in February 25 so poor old CJJ might have to give his poor dead horse a little respite.
But even if we go on a run under Frank (which I
hope we do), it wouldn't make up for or excuse the bullying that went on last year against people who simply supported the incumbent Spurs manager.That's the point the bullies never seem to understand.
Yeah but my point was the whole narrative around the manager from the press, pundits, etc is night and day.
Last year, they basically told Ange to shut up about the injuries and said he should be doing better.
This year, we should stick with Frank because he has the injury excuse.
Both seasons unacceptable but both with completely different narratives.
I will be happier than anyone if Frank turns it around but, I agree, he needs to completely change his mentality. Stop being such a pussy and go for the wins!

Well, I'll tell you this is more about Franks mindset (hello Brentford) than missing some key players.
He always, always sets up not to lose. This is our biggest problem by a mile.
It's instilled into the players, and even the set up today ceded the midfield to City with playing an extra CB.
Now what happened at HT. Frank knew he was hanging by a thread and he finally threw caution to the wind by matching them up in the middle and pressed high.
And look at the fucking difference it made. And hello, the crowd comes alive.
The crowd feeds off the play on the pitch, that's the way it always works.
Frank's approach has completely bored the fans and the team has suffered as a result.
He'll no doubt get the season but if Frank is to continue long term he must, absolutely must change his negative mindset

I didn't say it was a flex. I just think it's really odd that you have people who wouldn't go back in time and pull the trigger a year ago, despite all metrics being worse.
We're not talking about attacking people for defending or supporting Frank, but simply pointing out facts like you're not allowed to even reference how absolutely awful it was a year ago. The irony is you have those losers calling people 'derangers' as if it isn't completely deranged to accept the league form of last season as anything other than shameful

It’s the same shit every PL match. In the first half he sets us up not to lose and counter the opponents.
Then when his plan A fails, it’s like “well we’re out of it so might as well have a go now”.

I'm not a violent person, but the more he talks the more I want to give him a wee slap.

But that's the issue. I don't want the Spurs manager praising Woolwich. I don't want him saying that a point against Sunderland at home is acceptable.

I will admit to him raising a slight smirk from me when he said we'd been working on scorpion kicks in training. Need a bit more of that.

I've not seen anything to suggest that. Everything I saw when he got appointed was about how nice a guy he is.
He's a bit of a liar mind - 'to not take risk is to take risk', 'we'll play front foot football' - can't say I've seen any of that from him.
Nice guys don't lie, gaslight or disrespect the fans.
He's a rubbish big club manager and I think he's also an idiot, a very boring & weird chap, and just not a very nice person.

Frank had previously been saying something about 7 points in 5 matches was a sign things were getting better, or something like that, I don't recall his exact words. We now have just 3 points from our last 5 matches, so if anything we're getting worse, if we use his guide to define improvement (last 5 matches).

I'm willing to put all that down to him just not realising how big a club he's walked into but he should realise by now and I'd expect the gaslighting to stop sharpish if he wants people back on board.
It's weird cos I consider myself a nice, quiet, cheery & modest guy but I find it hard to warm to Frank. On the other hand, I absolutely loved Ange and his prickly, grumpy, arrogant & dour demeanour. I guess opposites really do attract!
