He never stopped blaming the players for every outcome. Cannot think of a single occasion in 2 years of mostly dire football where he ever acknowledged he'd done anything imperfectly. It was always individual errors or bad luck. No one respects a leader who won't take responsibility.
Wow. You know you have literally just described Frank? Except for the 2 years part

I could actually use the same reply from the one you quoted hahahaha

Just amazing to pour so much resource into a bloke who has done so little, as though there is more perceived likelihood of success if you just give it time, regardless of any evidence to the contrary.

It makes no sense whatsoever, the simple fact is he hasnt shown anything to suggest time is all that is needed

And yet, ridiculous as it seems, thats exactly what our board of numptys seem to think

Their algorithms must be telling them something many of us can't see.

You run out of words to describe what's going on, whereas you would expect to be hearing of end of season talks on the manager's future if things don't improve, we seem to be being sent messages of carry on regardless.

The problem could be that come the summer the board will think that being out of Europe is actually a good thing.

That it gives Frank time to work with the players in-between matches which will lead to better performances/results.

Oh god I've depressed myself...

9 staff from Brentford

When was the last time we let any manager have that many people?

And fucking hell they do it for Frank of all people :frankfacepalm:
The glaring problem here is that Brentford were happy to let them all go. If I was in charge of Spurs I'd have thought "hang on, why are those fuckers not putting up more resistance to me stealing their entire coaching team". It was is if they knew exactly what we were getting. A crap coaching team who have benefited from a solid front office and low expectations at Brentford, to enhance their profiles. Frank is dead after this gig. Can't see another club giving him an opportunity. To be honest, with the massive pay off coming his way, I doubt he'll even need to work again. Probably take the Denmark job at some point down the line, do that 4 year cycle, and disappear to the studio to talk bollocks about football.

To be fair, this most recent guy was actually at Palace the last 18 months

And Im pretty sure the set piece guy was at a few clubs post Brentford

Its more his immediate coaching staff (Cochrane/the analyst etc) that came directly from there.

But, yes, some weird unambitious nepotism going on. Id like to think the club would have more ambition/imagination...

As to Frank, he'll get work. At least 1 or 2 more. And if he lands at a club that thinks success is staying up - he might even look competent again. But he is categorically not a big club manager, thats done for him now.

Amount of staff they're allowing Frank to bring in surely points to them wanting to keep him for next season?
I think Vinai & Lange did not sign any more players due to limited options in the market.

Yeah, we definitely needed to sign backups, but they probably thought if we should purchase any other players, they need to be at the required standard.

Frank must not rate Scarlett, since his loan makes no sense from a squad perspective.

But as low as the standards have fallen, if Frank keeps following the same trajectory, there is no way his tenure should continue.
