Need to increase the prices in there. Far too many people are there because it is the cheapest stand and they want a nice day out. Put the prices up and the people who really want to be there and get behind the team will find a way to afford it.

I'm lost for another way. It's shit. I had a go in the south east lower yesterday and it was much better. Less moaning and a few more singing. I'm usually in 257 and it is utterly terrible. Will move next season to somewhere where people actually want to get behind the side. Although fuck knows where that is!

Lol, no.
Put the prices up and you just get corporate wankers.
If you want the hardcore fans in the south stand you do it on loyalty points alone.

That wouldn't work, they'd just sell them on to tourists like they do for the away games.

There is a problem with who is in there and in part it is because there are a load of people in there who are there because it is the cheapest place to sit. Maybe I'm thinking about it the wrong way round then and the club need to make the north stand a couple of hundred quid cheaper on the season ticket then and that would get rid of a load of people?

I'm not sitting in that block beyond this season. It is painfully shit. More moaners than singers. They make me want to give up my season ticket far more than the shit I regularly watch on the pitch since we moved there.

See, I'm not sure. The complaint used to be "real" fans have been priced out, so I'm not sure jacking up prices further helps. Our tickets are insanely overpriced as it is. I could almost buy two of Everton's most expensive season tickets for the cost of one of mine, and I've got one of the cheapest we sell.

One of my biggest frustrations in the stadium is the constant booing. Seems to be at every opportunity fans wanna boo. I get the frustration but I do feel the atmosphere in the stadium effects the players as it puts even more pressure on them to not make a mistake.

Halftime against Southampton when it was 1-1 there was booing!
Fans are sick of paying 70 quid to watch us get outplayed on our own pitch by mid table sides and completely surrender against the likes of Chelsea every single time without fail

And it’s largely the same players that have let us down time and time again for years on end

The fans are not the problem here …

Trust me, you put the prices up and all you get is the old West Stand Prawn sandwich brigade.
AND - if you want to put the prices up, they're going to have to have the facilities there to match the price point those prawn sandwich brigade expect. I was in that stand for Brighton and tbh, I was fucking appalled at how bad the facilities were in what is supposed to be the most desirable place in the stadium.

Yeah sorry, I've edited my post. See the one above for clarity. Another stand needs to be cheaper for ST holders. Reduce one by a couple of hundred quid.

Can’t agree with this. Whilst I personally don’t boo, I certainly feel the fans in the stadium deserve to vent their frustrations and booing wether you like it or not, is a way of expressing yourself in large numbers. The players completely deserve it, so don’t start feeling sorry for these pampered individuals. They are all on massive wages which we help pay for. We pay the highest ticket prices in Europe and for what ? Shit football and half hearted performances most weeks. Its been like this for 3/4 years now with the same group of losers. The fans are rightfully sick to death of being let down by everyone associated with the club.

I was looking at the score, and the way our defence crumbled, and genuine thought about going home before half time. I ultimately left on 82 minutes just because I didn't want to stand in a queue for a train in the pissing rain.

Here's the thing. If I was going home to something other than a good fucking nagging, I probably would have gone at HT. I still got nagged at when I eventually did get home, but at least it was 45+ minutes less of it.

That's where Spurs are at the moment. I'm not going there to enjoy myself. I'm going there for some peace and quiet.
You must have known that you'd done something wrong if you were expecting a mouthful! I hope you've made up for it today, by treating her to some flowers or chocolates - happy Valentine's Day, if you weren't aware ;)

I haven't done anything wrong Mrs P. Just not a happy house at the moment. If I do something, it's wrong. If I don't do anything, I should have. Just rather be out at the moment. My only release is becoming as bad as what I'm trying to get away from.

Agreed, all it does is make things worse. Emerson was getting abuse against Southampton. I know he was shit but it started after 2 minutes. It certainly wouldn't make me to want to bust my balls for the fans.

While we were shit in the last two games, I dont think you can say the players weren't trying. That is the only time its acceptable to boo someone wearing lilywhite imo.

On the plus side, clapping sess round the pitch was a great gesture and an example of how supporting a player can loft his confidence

Have a word with yourself. They got booed because they were so fucking terrible. They weren't terrible because they got booed. They deserve the ire of the fans. Those two performances were nowhere near good enough. I think Southampton was possibly worse as we barely created anything. Wolves was just a calamity in defence with poor finishing when we got chances, of which we had some good ones.

So the fans aren't making the players bad, it's the players making the fans angry,
Booing should be for when you are absolutely terrible. We'd just come off the back of a good run of games in the league barring Chelsea away and a good performance against Brighton in the FA Cup. The Southampton game was the first league game since the last minute winner against Leicester. You should be supporting the team, not booing at half time when the score is 1-1 ffs.

I'm sick of it more than anyone, but I don't boo not when we were on a good run and things were starting to look more promising. It's fickle. Get behind the team rather than this standard booing at every opportunity.

We were truly terrible against Southampton and Wolves.
Southampton made us look ordinary for large portions of that game.

Yeah, I don't disagree about the game yesterday to a certain extent but still not convinced about booing in the Southampton game.

The worst case of booing though was Conte's first premier league home game against Leeds and fans booed at half time. It just seems the modern thing now and I'm convinced it has an effect on the mentality of not just the players but other fans too. I don't for one second feel sorry for the players, I would just like to see a positive attitude. Even Derby County fans who's club has been run into the ground and is on the verge of extinction still manage to support their team.
