Well Ange clearly has the players on side. Looks like a healthy siege mentality has formed in the group in what has been a difficult early season - which hopefully brings out the best of this team over the coming months.

I really enjoy listening to James Maddison interviews, he talks like a proper football person, someone who says it how it is, comments on the game as he sees it instead of being obsessed with stats/bar charts/pie charts/line graphs etc etc.

Isn't it people like you obsessing about peoples random utterances ' bring down the mood' and desperately needing to police it because:....I don't know its depressing or boring or repetition. It's none of those thing is actually irrelevant. The point I made is that these were changes people have pointed out could improve us. 'Call out' oh the ego on it...Oh please.

Best performance of the season and a good result. Yes it did get nerve wracking before the 3rd goal but that is always the case when holding only a 1 goal lead. Some good performances, notably Maddison, Solanke and Johnson. Vic had good and bad moments. Son has clearly lost his speed and will never run the whole length of the field to score like that goal of the season against Burnley before COVID. However he got 2 assists today and is still our most reliable shooter when the chance is there.
We should have scored more but we’re lucky at the back that apart from their goal they also did not take their chances. Although Romero had a generally good game he gave the goal scorer far too much room and could be blamed for yet another goal. He is banned for Thursday but will be back next Sunday and needs to cut out these errors. Ange clearly tweaked the system as everyone wanted and it worked.
Happy with the performance and the result and we need to keep it up.
