No Europe or League Cup in those days but from memory I seem to remember they only used 13 players all season. Certainly never had either the injuries or large squads of today.I believe I remember reading that in the double winning year over Easter we played Friday, Saturday, Monday, won all three matches including twice against Chelsea, and scored about 14 goals. And one of the team got married on the Sunday and the entire team went to the wedding.
He had a heart attack!Ginola liked a smoke as well. Did him no harm. One of the greats for us.
Hope not
I played with a bloke who every half time would speed smoke 2 darts. The rest of us would be sick from the sight and the smell. Unsurprisingly he died of a heart attack aged 44.
Knew a bloke who went to a no smoking clinic. Was building up for a couple of weeks to give up. On his first day of giving up his mates put loads of fags and different fag packets smothered on his car for a laugh. Found that hilarious tbh.I played with a bloke who every half time would speed smoke 2 darts. The rest of us would be sick from the sight and the smell. Unsurprisingly he died of a heart attack aged 44.
Agreed He was a great player but saying smoking did him no harm is just wrong.Ginola liked a smoke as well. Did him no harm. One of the greats for us.
Depends on the opposing manager.. he plays wide attackers that exploit our weakness at the bac.. then it could be a long hard afternoon.I wait with bated breath to see which Tottenham turns up tomorrow. As Toyah would say, 'It's a mystery'
