Match ***Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester Rovers 2pm Sunday 26/1/2025 … 6 pointer ***

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Anyone. Play the kids if we have to. We need to keep players fresh before Liverpool. If we beat Leicester then there is zero relegation fears so who cares where we finish in midtable.

Obviously if we don't beat Leicester then we prob have to go strong against Brentford and the entire season falls apart. Imagine Richarlison picks up an inury before Liverpool if we don't rest him in between

Fcuk the Liverpool game.

Because that thought process isn't normal for a football fan, thinking of the team losing a match in order to gleefully jump online to read comments in order to satisfy your own ego.

What do you actually get out of that? 😆
That's not at all what I said.

There are plenty saying they would be happy to see us lose in order to see the end of the manager, but I literally said that I can't help but want us to win every game. I can see the logic to what those people are saying, but that's not for me.

I don't think alluding to morbid curiosity implies anything about being gleeful at the prospect.

That is weird though you have to admit, the fact that you call it morbid curiosity suggest that it's a kinda bizarre thought process, no?

Not really, it's quite topical right now isn't it? Throughout a range of threads there are people doubling down on their support (granted fewer and fewer by the week), and others incredulously questioning what on earth it is that those people are seeing.

I call it morbid curiosity because it's an eventuality that I don't want to happen, but if it does then I'll find it interesting to see how the remaining Ange-Inners manage to try and defend his position.
