Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

These scrappy 1 - 0 victories are much better than scrappy 1 - 0 losses. We were losing these types of games earlier in the season. Take the 3 points and move on.

Not good for the blood pressure in the stadium, but this is a team that needs a few one nil wins to get the confidence up. A run of clean sheets will be really difficult but amazing with players still out. Just need to get a bit sharper in front of goal and hope Solanke is back soon.

Jesus wept. You really are as dumb as they come, aren't you.
At times I think you are trolling and just being in wind-up mission.

But then such replies really make me doubt. That maybe you actually have challenges grasping things like analogies. Or understanding that there could be two factors contributing to one problem, etc.

Really worrying.
No, you just come across as someone who is as thick as two short planks.

It seems like it's only you that doesn't see it

The Sky Sports highlights make it look a completely different game IMHO.

Both teams were dire, we took our chance, United squandered a few, but it wasn’t all United like their highlights suggest.

The only time I thought they score was when garnacho skied that easy chance first half. Apart from that I thought we were comfortable. We had some good periods of pressure where if Solanke or Richy were at centre forward we’d have run out easy winners. Ipswich were a better side.

I just saw MOTD and was going to ask how reflective of the game that was. Or whether it reflected the BBCs second favourite team?

I will say we are almost certainly safe now. We will beat Soton at home and likely win at least one other random game. That would leave one of Ipswich or Leicester needing 20 pts to equal our points. Which, over 13 games, is not going to happen.

It does give us a tiny bit more flexibility re EL

What have we seen from Scarlett, that tells us he is ready?

He has got his chances, both with us and others, but not taken them well uptil now. He made an impact goal at last occasion though, and it may be that he is still able to make the cut, but ridiculing Ange for not seeing his greatness - as five or six other managers haven't either, is just dumb..
The thing is unless you give these kind of players proper game time you don't know, no one can. Same is true of Lankshear, Ajayi, Donley etc.

Dane was top scorer per minute played in the championship when he was recalled with four goals. And won us a game against weak opposition - but no one else was finding a way through including Brazils number nine. Great record with England U20s and U21s. How many starts has he actually had since the loan at Pompey when he was 18? He should have been loaned to clubs where they were going to start him as first choice, and that is down to the club ultimately picking the wrong clubs.

Why not give him (and others) a run of games in a dead season? you might just save a few million. Thank god Tim Sherwood did that a few years back....

Tel is not showing quality of a top 6 PL player. Bayern won't give you a half decent player in Jan while they're still in the CL.
He's just another Levy idea of buying young and unknowns who may or may not have a resale value.
Are we really blaming Levy for bringing in Tel in January? Who could we have signed that was any better?

Its not football manager. We can't just go and buy Isak or Watkins!

I mean, this is internet forum. It goes without saying - none of us are scientists, at least not specialized on every topic that we discuss. We do not understand everything to most finest detail.
But you make it look like that if you are not specialized scientist, then everything posted is totally meaningless and you have some kind of moral high ground to laugh it all out. Ofc based on that logic you should not post or share any opinion of yours as well, given that you don't have these required credentials.

While the reality of such internet forum is simple - it is all guesswork by fans. Who are not sport scientists. Neither are you to laugh it all out.

If people are not sports scientists but still jump to wild assumptions and base their own (usually pretty aggravated) opinions on it and even present those opinions as facts… that is funny and absurd.

I disagree

He scored in his first start and got himself into great situations and was unlucky not to score in his second start.

He’s got great technical ability with either foot, intelligent movement, good instincts and looks a massive talent at 19 to me.

Hes not Aleks Isak or Harry Kane. Not yet anyway but plenty of people were writing off Solanke after 2 games as well
