Match Tottenham Hotspur VS Eintracht Frankfurt. Thursday 10th April 2025. 8pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Frankfurt away is a very intimidating atmosphere, my German friend told me fans are incredibly loud - this Spurs team will crumble.

There will be no plan, I think it’ll be 2-0 to Frankfurt.

What mistakes Tottenham made when we made it 1-0!

The 1-1 was a dream!

And then the class difference became apparent!
We were lucky to have Kaua Santos' excellent performance.
We were lucky that the posts and crossbar were in the right place!
The ref - he was no homeref (here also good luch for us)!

The Eintracht Frankfurt fans were loud (you can always rely on them), the atmosphere of the Spurs fans – sensational!

The return leg will be exciting to the point of a heart attack (I'll take my medication with me!), and I'm already looking forward to the hopefully sensational atmosphere from both fan bases!
It will be incredibly difficult for us – in the second half we only stand in the box.

Looking forward to Thursday, April 17th!

Udogie did ok, I enjoyed the game but the substitutions were a bit late for my liking.

It's going to be more difficult in Frankfurt am Main with us not having a lead from our home fixture, that said I think we did an OK performance, probably one of Postecoglou's best, it's just that with our intensity we need the subs earlier IMO.
That's what Ange does he Subs @ 65-70+mins then another one @ 80mins

makes no sense to me...

I can tell you nope. Its not. I've been a Spurs fan for over 30 years and that is what this club made me into.
Well I've been around for a bit longer, and I've seen us win this sort of tie, not that it has any bearing on this tie. I saw enough tonight to suggest that we will be competitive. Doesn't mean we're guaranteed to win, but we've got the talent to do so. Footballs a funny old game...

Should have won that tie, I fear we've let it slip like so many opportunities we've had to try to win trophies. I really can't see Ange being in charge next season. The subs were way too late to have enough impact. As soon as Kristensen got booked a more proactive and reactive manager/coach would be taking off Son and putting on Tel, Oderbert or Moore to run at him.

Thought Bentancur played very well this evening.

Next week it's shit or bust!

I’m fairly positive we will sneak past them in the away leg, we’ll all be ecstatic as Lazio bow out. The path to the final will be open.

And we’ll get absolutely shelled 4-0 in the first leg by this Norwegian team no one has ever heard of.

I would agree if it was a different manager. But not this one.

The opportunity to punish them was there for all to see around the hour-75th minute.... We were all over them

The difference between us inevitably scoring, and it just being 'one of those nights' was on us not taking advantage when we were in the ascendancy...
Whether it's just REFUSING to take the foot off the gas, or to make some even more positive, attack minded subs whilst we had them on the ropes....

When we did neither, is when it started to feel like one of those nights we might regret next week!

Not a shameful performance ...
just a shame.

At home, that's a shameful performance.

All 3 of our forwards were piss poor. If they had turned up we would have won comfortably. The fact that it was Bergvall. Bentancur and VDV that nearly won it for us says it all
