Match Tottenham Hotspur VS Eintracht Frankfurt. Thursday 10th April 2025. 8pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We need to get players closer to Solanke , he’s always so isolated , we should have runners off him , nobody’s within 10 feet of him when he has the ball .

Most of those players are isolated from each other.

Ange's 'system' is pretty much playing by numbers.

We look totally disjointed, at times all over the place, players out of position and through no fault of their own, leaving the opponent who has the ball for another player to worry about.

Stating the bleedin obvious here but we needed another couple of goals tonight - could’ve had them too during that period of the 2nd half when we were all over them.

Can see a capitulation incoming next week I’m afraid…general away form dictates this. Their manager - who was up and down and very vocal all night (it looked like from the Shelf anyway) - will do a number on Skippy

All 3 of our forwards were piss poor. If they had turned up we would have won comfortably. The fact that it was Bergvall. Bentancur and VDV that nearly won it for us says it all

Bergvall is a beast of a player.

The most important player in that squad.

If needed we can find another Gray or DJ, but this kid (and he is just a kid) needs a long contract, bumper pay-rise and a 100 million buy out.

Yes he is that good, and will only improve.

If that bald cunt can waste over two hundred million on N'Dombele, Richarlison and Solanke then he can spend half of that on an extended contract for Bergvall.

I disagree

I think we have a bang average group of players that have been badly coached and managed for nearly two years now

80 percent would mean we're a top 3 or 4 side which we just aren't.

Who in our squad gets into a top 3 side? VDV possibly but his injuries would thwart that. Romero? Well his head is anywhere else but Spurs. Anyone else? Can't think of anyone

Don't get me wrong, they should definitely be higher than they are now, but this is a top 6 group of players at their very best.
Vic
VDV
Romero
Gray
Bergvall
Moore
Odobert
Solanke

The rest as far as i am concerned can go.

Tbh an just an opinion we got into a habit of not winning games or getting over line. Important game sunday at wolves and get in the habit of winning. Then it's a huge game next week. Treat wolves game as a mock test imo.
