Brighton yesterday showed how effective the press can be though admittedly against 10 Men. Our press today was good for most of the second half but loss of concentration leads to goals. Wonder if Bentancur Biss and Maddison is starting midfield for the NLD. Got to have a proper striker … likely it’s Johnson, Solanke and Son as starting forward line.

If Solanke is available I think it will be a bloody good game and we’ll have a decent chance to win.

We just have to find a way to put away the chances we're creating - if Solanke is fit and able to start that will go a long way to hopefully sorting out our poor finishing.
And at the other end, we need to stop gifting mistakes to the opposition. So much needless pressure today came from our own doing.
Whether it's concentration or tactics it needs s sorting as we can't be gifting teams chances at the same time as not taking our own.

We absolutely dominated them in this fixture last season and were simply undone by horrible officiating (offside on VDV and penalty on Kulusevski) and set pieces.
The new rules seem to have cut off Woolwich's set piece dominance and we seem to be defending better from them so hopefully that's one avenue closed off for them.

I don't have much faith in us against teams with good forwards, because as good as we can be with the ball we are also pretty easy to score against.
