Surely after 15 months in the job he could have sorted out the mentality and the conviction. Didn’t he say something like that last season. He gets paid money to improve the mentality that is part of being a manager. I think he’s one of those who absconds all responsibility. It’s the players who lacked conviction. I didn’t see him on the touch line geeing them on / up. Didn’t see him encouraging players or even clapping any passage of play. He just stands shows no conviction or enthusiasm.If it is a mentality, then it is hard to understand. One of the points we heard a lot last season was that players were free to take more chances in this system.
