I’ve never done this before, even though there were multiple shocking years where I could have but I’m done with this season, I’m tapping out.
Spurs bring no value or joy to my life at present. I think the World Cup really drove the point home, I didn’t miss them and wasn’t excited for them to come back. It really feels like a chore watching now, a task on my calendar I have to complete every weekend.
I’ve lost the ability to delude myself that it’s going to improve or that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m sure I’ll figure some way to lie to myself before next season but I’ve had enough for this year. There’s no value added. I’m done caring.
