Haha. Don't ever change, thinkybaby.
Except for maybe all that "kissing rings and dickless pissing" business... but I digress.
Foyth joined Spurs in August '19 as a 19 year-old. 8 months removed from signing his first professional contract in Argentina for Estudiantes, who he played a grand total of 8 professional matches for before joining us (all at CB.).
Foyth's first appearance for Villarreal was as a RB substitute. He's started 2 matches at CB for Villarreal (both in Copa del Rey matches against lower division clubs).
Foyth was used as a stop-gap DM by Emery @ Villarreal (due to the injury of Coquelin) a total of 4 times. Once, in a Copa del Rey match against a 3rd division side, twice in December La Liga matches (where he was subbed off at halftime in both matches), and once in a February 2021 in La Liga home loss vs Real Betis.
In December 2020, Villarreal bought and directly inserted Capoue into the starting lineup as soon as he was eligible (afterJanuary 04, 2021.).
The majority of Foyth's starts and appearances for Villarreal have been at RB, including the last 2 La Liga matches (both losses).
For Villarreal this season, Foyth is 2nd choice RB, 4th/5th choice CB, and emergency/stop-gap DM.
It is fairly common for youth or professional players (GKs aside) to play in multiple positions throughout their career, often in the same season, sometimes within the same match. Vinícius for example, was a CB as a youth player.
Foyth broke into the national team for the 2019 Copa America, where he played 4 matches for Argentina (including the 0-2 semifinal loss to Brazil).
I'll give you one guess what position he played for Argentina in all of those matches...
Jesus christ, how many of you window-lickers are there? lolOf course Foyth is a Right Back.
By Thinky's logic Gianluigi Buffon is a midfielder
Fernando Torres was a goalkeeper
Kurt Zouma is a Centre forward
David De Gea is a Striker
and don't forget Sol Campbell was a striker throughout his career, as these were all their positions as youth players.
And what is it I see in his team, a Left Back play as a Right Sided forward.
There are of them

Yeah, still think he's going to go strong for this at the expense of the league, for the above reasons. We can rest people next week if we win with a clean sheet.Clean sheet imperative. Makes scoring in Zagreb a huge bonus.
Would take a 1-0 with eyes on the fact they'd need 3 if we score away.
that was probably funny in your head, before you typed it.
not so much now.
Thank you. That's exactly right. That sounds like Red Star last season in Champions league group stage.
That's odd.
In my experience, I have found Mick Coopers to generalize large swaths of populations.
The Mack Coopers however seem to be a different kettle of fish.
I think 9 points from our last 3 games suddenly makes the Woolwich game a lot more important than it was.
After all the moaning, we've now won 4 of our last 6, with an acceptable loss to City and a bad defence away from getting point(s) against West Ham in the other.
A few weeks ago I was thinking of resting key players in the league and going all out to win the ropey league. Win a cup and get CL football in one go.
But now, hmm.
I think mourinhos plan all along has been Europa league this seasonI think 9 points from our last 3 games suddenly makes the Woolwich game a lot more important than it was.

I still think they will play their strongest XI v us as its a derby game.Woolwich will see the Ropey league as there only chance of Euro football next season, so I would expect them to field their strongest side. They also have to travel for their first leg and that won't be ideal.
After that they can fuck off.
