Still pissed off with the state of this team and the shambolic summer that will probably prove to be it's undoing. We've been wasting precious time in the last few years by fucking about in the transfer windows. We've a once in a lifetime striker dumped in our lap who will soon be entering his peak. We should have invested in our squad and pushed on.

Now Eriksen, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Dembele are on their way out, 4 key players. We can't replace them in a single summer so that means more seasons of transition and before we know it, Kane will either be looking elsewhere or we have wasted his best years. Absolute fucking shambles from you, Levy, you bald fucking cunt. Poch's recent comments aren't too optimistic either, now with Lopetegui being sacked.

What a miserable sod - Eriksen, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Dembele are on their way out - all rank speculation with zero evidence ....

Meanwhile Poch, Kane, Son, Lamela, and today Dele have all signed new contracts .... with Tripps, Aurier, Sanchez, Winks, Moura, all on recent long term contracts ...

But hey you keep spouting your negative shit if that's what makes you smile .... not sure anyone's to bothered by some random entitled 'Dane' who just called the best three EPL years in our history "wasting precious time" I'd call you a stupid cunt, but that would be offensive to stupid cunts everywhere ....

Last night was awful. Truly awful. I'm going to sound like a far right lunatic but the stadium was full of tourists from all over the place. The concourse was like being stuck at Heathrow. Popcorn, sweets, every accent under the sun - except English. People openly talking about how they liked Chelsea and United. I was sat next to a row of Chinese eating their way through various oriental delicacies, playing on their phones, and on the other side Yanks trying really hard to behave how they thought European football fans should. I ended up moving to the 'home' corner where at least there were some people interested in Tottenham and the game. I desperately hope that WHL is going to be full of genuine Tottenham fans. #AMF

I find myself, with sadness (I'm not a racist either), agreeing.
Oh, and another thing, there were a couple of lads quite openly walking around with rucksacs on - one West Ham and one Liverpool - I asked them if they effin knew where they were, but they weren't frightened by a grandad and just laughed at me. I'm not a fan of violence but the game sure is a-changing.

I saw maybe the same guy with a Wet Spam rucksack walking up Wembley Way about an hour and a half before k/o. No wonder it's hard to generate an atmosphere at times at the shithole.

Really afraid of our games against top teams this season. We don’t look a big team this season.
Not sure about that. We've played Liverpool and Man City and had numerous injuries/players returning from injury for both. 21 points from 10 games is better than I thought we'd be at the beginning of the season. The Watford and Inter losses still hurt the most for me though. Threw those games away by pissing about with it. It all boils down to playing ourselves into trouble for me, and that starts with Dier/Dembele not being direct enough and slowing all our attacks down. Dembele on his day is a world-beater who controls the tempo very well, but not seen that enough or really at all this season. You all know my thoughts on Dier by now!

What's more concerning is the form of our non-injured players like Trippier, Davies, Dier, Son, and to certain extent Kane and Moura. Lamela has been the stand out for weeks. I just think Kane needs a decent rest. Why not pull him out of the next international break November for 2 week break, like that bald cunt Pep seems to do with Sterling.

Fingers crossed we start on the front foot tomorrow night with some marginal players looking to prove a point and we can take that into the tricky game at Wolves on Saturday night (745 KO, what the fuck?!) I'd like to see KWP, Aurier, Foyth, Wanyama, Winks, Llorente, Son all start.

I seem to remember we went on a great run between now and the New Year last season? COYS

Not sure.

We beat Utd away.
Could have ended up with a point against Liverpool if a blatant last minute penalty was given.
Could have ended up with a point against City if Lamela didn't miss a good chance.

Frustrating that two games against top 6 have been at home and we've lost both but I have no doubt we can beat Utd, Woolwich and Chelsea at home and hopefully sneak another away win.

We are getting better. Plus that's never been our problem. Our biggest problem has been results against those at the bottom of table, according to last season anyway.

Was at the match. I think the team played quite well for the most part - just lacking that little bit of quality in the final third to break them down. Even so we had our chances and should have got a point.

Davies and Trippier (unless the latter is in a 3-4-3) probably aren't quite good enough for where we want to be. Special mention for Sissoko who had by far the best game I've ever seen from him in a Spurs shirt.

The atmosphere was rubbish - loads of tourists and regulars staying away. It's a big statement from the fans about the stadium debacle. What other company can take your money six months in advance and not provide a service?

Just fuck off with your pathetic, miserable groaning.
Do you get some kind of kick out of it?

Things are not nearly as bad as you make them look.
This is the forum to moan on though.
Dane about levy, you about a stranger you could put on ignore but choose not to so you can moan about him. Me about you.
In this thread alone there are people moaning about the stadium, other spurs fans, the ref, trippier, other posters etc.
Not many can say they post on here without moaning.
We all love a good moan whether you choose to admit it or not.
Thats why I'm excited for halloween.
I can spend all the day moaning like a ghost.

The support sounded ok at times, better than the Liverpool game anyway.
Most people on level 5 bunched up towards the sides leaving the ends empty, did stewards move them that way, so there weren't randomly spaced empty seats all around?

The Liverpool game was full, at least thereabouts. It might be a problem of stewarding, at least in part...

Atmosphere in modern football is an issue, I was amazed at people leaving in droves during the Barcelona game - chaps in front of me must have occupied their seats for a total of 45 mins of the 90.

I know people have things to do, are busy etc but how many times do you see exciting late drama? It's got worse with people coming in and out for the entirety of the game.

There is a difference.
I see very little reason of NOT moaning about this one performance from yesterday. It was just... poor.

But all that does not mean that we are eternally fucked, everyone will leave, we have missed our chance etc.
When you stub your toe, sure, you can scream and swear. Nothing wrong with this. But if you act like you are about to die and call an ambulance - you have taken it too far. Just like he has with his absolute and certain doom.

Could have written the same thing. Where were you seated? Surrounded by tourists playing with 'phones, making bizarre noises, feigning interest and so on.

Really hope NWHL is full of genuine fans and not rubberneckers.

To add to the tourist there were quite a few City fans all around us. There were a couple of gooners taking the piss afterwards (I had to confront them pointing out that they c**nts) my bad for the reaction but fuck off with that gloating to your own shithole. Hell there were even a couple of kids with Chelsea bags on my way in. Enough with Wembley it isn’t home

After going a goal down I feared the worst. Trippier was having a hard time and I would not have been surprised if we were out of it by half time. However after a dodgy spell early in the second half I started to get some confidence we could get back in it and we should have with Lamela. Disappointing but without our key players we were not likely to beat City with that team.
Moving onto the team selections. Eriksen has had a start and I fully expected him to start this one. Unlike Sammy I do not know how fit he was. I could speculate that as the Danish Manager suggested it could be a chronic problem. If that is the case it maybe that it will flare up some days and we may have to get used to Eriksen missing matches. That is a real concern. Dele came back a few weeks back and aggravated the injury and rightly Poch is being more cautious this time. I expected Aurier to play as Trippier has played a lot. Maybe without Eriksen, Poch wanted a dead ball specialist but it backfired and he cost us the game.
Not too disheartened as it was City and players are regaining form and fitness.

At the end of the day its just meaningless words by a stranger on an internet forum. I don't think its worth getting so upset or annoyed about. But I guess its your choice.

Anyone else notice this? In the close-up replay on Sky of Sterling's goal yesterday at 6.28 you can see that as Tripps jumps for the header he gets an elbow in the back from Sterling - enough to make him misjudge his header.

Seriously, God save me from the type of cretin we are getting at Wembley.
Wandering up and down rows looking for their seats.
Half scarves ffs!
In and out stuffing their faces.
Oriental fans with no clue as to what was going on.
Hordes of idiots taking non stop selfies.
People on their phones all game.

And you're not even allowed to kill them.

I genuinely despise the place now.

Aurier would have dealt with the header and if he fucks it up, hes at least fast enough to win get to the ball first or put Sterling under real pressure. Worst of all Trippier then looks at Lloris in disgust as if its his fault. Really dont like Trippier.
Centre Backs did not cover themselves in much glory on the goal either.
