I do feel that having both Dier and Sissoko on for so long was a bit over the top, but then we were totally dominant and maybe helped us to control the game. But there was a lot more urgency and looking forward when Lamela and Wanyama were on. Should have shown a fraction more creativity and pace up front but we deserved a lot more from this game. It was a long way from a bad performance.

He was confident enough to start Llorente on Tuesday as well as Lamela/Son/Eriksen/Dele - yet went surprisingly defensive for a home game against West Ham where they didn't have a shot until the 75th minute.
When it was clear on the 20th minute that a defensive midfielder simply wasn't needed - he should have had an idea on bringing one of Winks or Dembele on or even Lamela.
