h-WHAT? Another game already? Does the league association not know that the grand tactician Ange the Greatoglu needs less sucessive games after a loss and more sucessive games after a win for his vision to fully blossom?

2 games a week is just crazy. This is too much. They all have knocks and sores and knocks and even more sores from the other night. And they are slow healers.

The Premier League is against us.
Oh big Ange save us with your infinite football wisdom and create a miracle to show that Tottenham Hotspur never backs down from a challenge like a double gameweek!

Right, I’m going to keep an eye on Iriola on the sidelines today to see if he is either standing there watching the game with his arms folded, not consulting with his coaches or doing anything to influence his players or is actually playing the part of a manager during a Premier League match. Got a feeling I know which one it will be, win, lose or draw.

I’d rest Spence and Bergvall for this one with Thursday night in mind

Vicario

Porro Romero VDV Udogie

Gray

Sarr Maddison

Tel Solanke Odobert

The players don’t need resting. They need a win and some confidence. They’ve got too used to losing. Full strength and then go again on Thursday. If we lose the manager’s excuse bingo will probably be that they had to rotate, let’s not give him that one.

Why we thinking of resting playets. We are playing Az not psg. Dippers played salah at home v soton and they have a bigger game than us midweek plus a final next week. Absolute shite some of our ‘fans’ think we need to rest players just so we can beat AZ.

Bet of the weekend is Bournemouth first score first fifteen. The goal will come the same way they always do.

Seems everybody knows this except the team and manager. If by pure arse luck this doesn't happen I give spurs a shot at it. Not sure that's a good thing as they very much dislike putting wins together.

Maybe fear of over achievement or some such.
Surely it's that clogger Bentancur getting booked at some point?

I dont think it's about resting players, I think after the unacceptable performance Thursday some of the squad who did not play significant minutes deserve a shot to stake their claim for a place Thursday, I'm thinking Moore, Scarlett, Sarr, Bissouma.

This is the line up I'd go with

1
Vicario
2
Spence
3
Gray
4
Danso
5
Davies
6
Bergval
7
Bentancur
8
Maddison
9
Odebert
10
Solanke
11
Moore

Vicario
Spence Gray Danso Davies
Bergval Bentancur Maddison
Odebert Solanke Moore

I was actually at the away game in B'mouth , and that was bloody piss poor . Hopefully , this will be an improvement but can't say I'm too confident . They are very good on the break .

Comes to something when we're worried about bloody B'mouth !

COYS , we need cheering up

Someone posted that Bournemouth were the bookies favourites to win today.

I couldn't believe it as we're at home and it's Bournemouth not Chelsea so I double checked.

Unbelievable - they bloody are the favourites......

That is a very sad state of affairs - especially as we've nearly got everyone back.

Is this just how it is from now on?

Really struggling to get motivated to make the trip today.. Hope the team and the performance prove me wrong though.

Well, at least the weather is nice either way..

COYS

Difficult for anyone to get positive about games these days.
The team are now habitual losers so, we go into matches now expecting nothing from them, most of the time that ends up being the case.

Betting is based on current form and league positions, so no real surprise.
But agree how far our expectations have fallen this season.
Massive reboot and new head coach for next season needed.

We shouldn’t be weaker by rotating anymore though. Porro and Udogie was our best fb pairing to start the season. Sarr has been a massive player for us this season at different times.

I'm already predicting the narratives, both positive or negative outcome, about regarding the 'rotation' of players after this game.

I'm not too concerned with who is starting - I'm more concerned about their positions & how Ange uses the subs.

Will he pull underperforming players out before they completely fukk up? or do what he usually does & put in late subs that do fukk all?

If I'm honest this is a bragging rights game & a way to make it up to fans for whatever you want to call that AZ game was.

Narratives are dead now imo. They can only destabilize or offer excuses.

Now the only thing that matters is results. The Bournemouth result means nothing this season really. AZ means everything.

We need a win against Bournemouth for some positive energy going in to AZ but ultimately the only thing matters is winning against AZ
