Had to be at my pickup point at 7.30 this morning for this one. I've never had such little enthusiasm for a game and for the first time I'm questioning why the fuck I bother.

So Romero, VdV, Maddison and Bentancur are less important for Thursday than Gray ,Danso ,Bissouma and Bergval.
Can't predict this one but I won't go for a draw we rarely draw.

Exactly & I completely agree - this is why I'm not going today I really cannot be fukked watching Bournemouth.
I'm glad it's an early game so I can have some lunch at home watch the match & get on with my day without having to trudge through Seven Sisters.
the AZ game is El Sickico for me if we're out I'm fully Ange out.
Same mate - I gave this one a pass & I only live an hour away from the stadium on public transport.
After this season I'm honestly re-thinking about renewing my ST.

Tbh I’m running out of reasons to watch football at all. The type of football every team is trending towards is now some kind of ultra transitional hybrid of Pulis and Jose ball with athletic robots in every position.
It’s just uninspiring and unwatchable for 99% of games and on top of that we are shit anyway and only exist for internet banter for the big broadcasters and publishers.
Embarrassing isn't it.
I absolutely agree, although being in Australia it's a commitment of rest (or lack thereof) more than anything. Most matches are scheduled from 1am-4am... leading into a Monday morning, it's an awful way to start the week watching our shapeless capitulations.
Respect to you and all who make the journey/s to support the team. This is the worst I've felt about our football in 20 odd years.
Agreed - the PL this season has been, in my opinion, the least entertaining it has been in years & I watch 80% of the games on matchday so I'm not just talking about Spurs. I can't remember more than about 5-6 games that were 'Amazing' ok some big 'wins' yes but there's no tech in the PL, dribbling doesn't really exist anymore, I don't think I've seen more than 5-6 quality 'runs' or 'breakouts'. I'm sick to death of seeing the following phases in teamplay :-
- Play from the back wth lateral passing waiting for the opposition to become out of position
- Short passing into the midfield while being pressed waiting for your players to create space
- Medium ball or tikka takka to a winger only approaching from the wings or losing the ball then a counter from the opposition
- Winger takes it & crosses into the box whether step 3 is in possession by either side
- Striker tries to score

Agree. The PL has somehow evolved to a point where teams that win don’t need to have any elite passers, elite dribblers or elite shooters from distance.
Every goal is high xG and exactly the same as the others.
Cunha might be the only player im seeing playing anything other than analytics, robot ball.
Well for one Imwould not play both Romero and and VdV in their first games back. It didn’t work out well last time.Even 1/2 game each would be better

REMEMBER where we all were 5 years ago, suddenly deprived the routine of a match going experience, the escape, the excitement, the blind optimistic joy that brought EACH AND EVERY PRE-MATCH??
It made us appreciate the mundane, the normal, the RITUAL.
THAT should NEVER be forgotten and we should cherish it always...
