Good to see Romero and Solanke fit to start atleast. I'm still not over the embarrassment of us being underdogs for today's game. Think whatever happens that'll be more embarrassing than even losing today. Tottenham Hotpurs underdogs at home to Bournemouth?? My God!

Anyway good to see some rotation! Imagine we could see Archie Gray starting at the 6 midweek with Bentancur suspended so hopefully he comes on and plays midfield for the last 20/30 mins
Ange has shown zero interest in playing Gray at 6... he's hardly going to do it and what is arguably our biggest game of the season.

Probably the 25th different combination we have put on the pitch, maybe more, this season while Bournemouth have the same 11 week in and week out.

Apart from Madders and VDV that's probably as good a first 11 as we can put out.

We just have to look like we can score goals. We don't even necessarily need to score them in this (pretty much meaningless because we're fucked) league game but we must look like we have enough goals in us for Thursday.

Right, I’m going to keep an eye on Iriola on the sidelines today to see if he is either standing there watching the game with his arms folded, not consulting with his coaches or doing anything to influence his players or is actually playing the part of a manager during a Premier League match. Got a feeling I know which one it will be, win, lose or draw.

Not sure I really care how animated he is...... Our time with Conte sums that phenomena in a nutshell.....

Results are good = What a guy.... He's like a tornado on the sidelines.
Results are bad = It's just performative bollocks and potentially distracting to the players.

Dom is celebrating already and the game hasn’t even started yet.
If this were the other way round (ie: Solanke was OUR ex-Player now starting for them, you could almost GUARANTEE a goal...
As it is, I'm 50/50...
Either way, IF he scores, he's guaranteed to do the 'apology non-celebration' which is almost contractually obliged from ex-Players nowadays!!

I remember the 90s well mate

No way were they worse than the current shitshow
