Diers freekick 25 yards out first 15min
Hojbjerg “strike”
Kane goal
Sons header first half
Sons toe from 6 yards out from a cross
Sons one on one hit post
Winks shot 35yards from corner
Sissoko dribble past a couple into 6 yard box couldn’t find a pass to son or Kane or take shot. Minute 46
Reguilon 87min offside goal

These were all decent/good opportunities to score. 2 would have done, how many do they want, maybe a bit of luck.

Diers freekick hit the wall and went out for a corner. You call that a chance? Had he hit like at palace I'd call it one but he was nowhere near. Hojbjerg was also nowhere near. Not sure how you can count an offside goal as a chance we should score with. Keeper made good saves int he first half, we did nothing wrong. Second half we only really had the son chance. Did not do enough to win the game second half at all.

They have had very little impact on any league game they have played in this season
Our tactics don't help do they. Doesn't matter what great attacking players we find if we ask them to defend and counter against the likes of palace wolves Fulham. We just have a far superior teams to the shit we fail to beat.

The teams that will be in the top 2 at the end of the season carry very few passengers we probably carry at least 4 in our best 11.

Sons header offside was borderline on field call corner was given had it gone to var anything can happen.
they’re all chances opportunities to score against a team in 17th.
I can’t even remember the last time dier scored from a freekick, we have bale on the bench who is a free kick specialist, he took one from 30 yards out keeper parried and there was a tap in. That freekick today would have been perfect for bales left foot.
hojbjerg should have smashed it he was open instead of a pass to the keeper.

their keeper did make good saves I think he has the 3rd or 4th best save percentage in the league.
second half we played much more poorly whatever mourinho keeps saying at half time isn’t working.

there’s lots of opportunities that they are not maximising, they need better quality players. Simple as that

Fulham....bottom of the league crap. Haven't trained due to COVID. And we start a midfield of Sissoko, Winks and Holberg.

Is Jose trolling Levy to force him to buy a midfielder and replace Dele?

Dele should be one of the first names on the teamsheet; instead we play Sissoko; out of position ahead of him.
Yeah when I saw that midfield in the line ups I was very surprised. Not exactly a dynamic midfield

What the fuck happened to our shape in the second half??
We took off Winks and Ndom, dropped the piss poor Sis in alongside a below par PEH and started lumping it long from the back.

There was no coherent thought behind it that I could see and it reflects Jose's weakness which is taking the game to the oppo when a goal is needed - he doesn't really know what to do and, as he isn't a 'footballing' coach in the same way someone like Pep is, he falls into the trap of throwing on more attackers, sacrificing creativity in midfield (but continuing to protect the back 4) and basically lumping it up and hoping for a knock down, set piece or lucky break.

The best footballing teams keep their shape, keep playing football, maintain possession around the opponents box, be patient, keep probing and eventually the pressure this creates leads to increased momentum, openings, defensive mistakes and goals. We saw it plenty under prime Poch.

Jose doesn't possess the subtlety and patience for this type of attacking football, he's a defensive coach who likes to pounce on mistakes and take advantage with his usually superior players. Brilliant defensive manager, bang average creative one.

Reguilon also had a free opportunity early in the game that he hit over the bar. The chances were there.

My bigger issue is that most of those come before the 60 minute mark. We cleary slow down around then and the opposition has been able to pick one off of us. I think Jose should be looking for more offensive subs a bit earlier even with us ahead.
Thank you.

For the life of me I did not understand why he took off winks instead of sissoko. How he subbed off Ndombo instead of hoijberg???

Could have lost the latter during a counter attack when we went all in as he was already on a yellow.

Again, Mourinho panicked. Ugly subs!!

Getting a little frustrating this season. How many 1 alls are we going to rack up. It’s always the same, opposition team starts off bright but we get into the game, start getting chance after chance before we knock one home. Then we for some reason go into our shells and wait for the opposition to score. We have an annoying ability to make average teams looks like world beaters. Mourinhos subs also don’t seem to help as he’s more worried about losing then winning. Take Sissoko and Winks off and replace with attacking players. Keep possession and attack, attack, attack. We’ve got better players than at least 17 teams in the league. Why are we running scared of teams like Fulham.

And if I hear Andy Townsend say, “I don’t know why Kane isn’t taking these free kick” I’m going to lose my mind. Harry Kane does not score free kicks.....ever!

Thought he was bang average tonight, aside from the excellent ball to Reg for the goal he was way off it first half, Winks had a better first half in my opinion.

Sis was piss poor throughout and it's long overdue that he was hooked, a footballer who struggles with some of the basics really isn't what's required.

We basically destroyed our midfield with the subs and the attacking tactics seemed to consist of lumping the ball forward from the back, no football, no angles, little possession and even less pressure.

Jose doesn't have the answer, maybe his coaches do but if they do he's not listening to them. Top 4 is looking tough, the football is proving tougher to watch.
Wtf did we Play Hoijberg, Winks and Sissoko together ? Totally negative . We were at home to Fulham ffs. Then I guess Jose must think Sissoko is a better right winger than Bale. Or Lucas or Lamela for that matter.

Same old song and dance again . As soon as i saw that line up i expected it to be tough . That line up simply does not work , how can he not see this is beyond me .

anyway fa cup at the weekend . This is where our priorities are this season , domestic cups .
win this and we go to Everton by the looks of it .

Do you really think it's anything other then the manager telling them to play like this. People will keep saying kane and son were poor and son should finish but we just sat back and wanted to counter. Why the fuck are we playing like that against fucking Fulham. Sissoko out wide. Winks in the middle. What is he thinking. This is Fulham ffs
It was more rhetorical since Jose says this isn’t what he tells them to do. It’s been the same thing since we conceded those goals at West Ham.

We play Sheffield utd this week

So SPURS can't kill the game again !!
This is happening too many times

Here is my suggestion,

When they win, 100% of their salary
When they draw, 50% of their salary
When they lose, 0% of their salary

This should be drawn into their contracts.
Not just the team, but the whole squad.

This will DEFINITELY motivate them to kill the game.
