We beat newcastle next saturday i think top 4 is looking near to certain. Tough run in but players really need to up game now till end of season.

Villa away at Woolwich that weekend too, off the back of a European fixture.

Win and we'd potentially be 3 points clear with a better goal difference. And Villa would have 5 games left (to our 6) with one of those games being Liverpool for them.

Our best is simply awesome but some of the stuff we are getting wrong would be seriously agitating Ange. How many times did we give the ball away in the 6 minutes of added time? Romeros turnover and then silly foul outside the box could have set up a big finish. In general we still commit stupid fouls when the opppsition arent going anywhere. Other things like Maddinson trying a low percentage nutmeg that fails when he could just play the simple ball out wide to Werner whose one on one, often we dont give the obvious pass and we land ourselves in sticky situations.

More positively, 9 shots from outside the box, something that hasnt happened since early season. Looks like they've been told not to over do it.

You jest, but I would like to see Romero or VDV stride into midfield and attack more and get Bissouma to drop straight in. Menaces and c direct and powerful. I would put Romero up too if chasing a late goal too
Well, I was not totally joking. He frequently takes the ball up the pitch past the first layer. And, late in the game today he was up trying to control the ball near the forest goal. He shows more aggression going forward than most of our mids.

It's probably been said but just to repeat, our second and third goals were things of beauty. Magnificent net-bulging finishes after great team build up.

Benta's cushioned header to Porrito was sublime.
It might have been said, but it'll have been lost in the 'but what if' complaints.

It used to be that those moments were the ones talked about and celebrated. Now though, there seems to be more interest in what could have gone wrong, then berate everyone for it.

What a fanbase.

There’s better options that are attainable imo, Isak, Gyokeres etc - both younger albeit more expensive
I don't know anything about Gyokeres but I loved Isak at Real Sociedad.

Shame we had Kane and Sonny on fire at the time (nice shame obviously) because it wouldn't have been the best move for him when he left Spain but I'd be fine if we went large on him this summer.
