Then they go to Burnley where they don't have heated footballs and pitchside latte's and crumble!

Don‘t take away their crumble , anything but that, maybe serve it with no custard.

Say what you like, but that is a pretty impressive sight. Maybe that's where we're going wrong, too cosy for the players, maybe they need to rough it a bit, to toughen them up.

Listening to ally mccoist the other day and he told a story about when he was managing some club he got the apprentices to clean the toilets, stands etc, like in the old days.
After a couple of weeks a father came in and asked if making his son do that would make him a better player ?
Ally replied "Probably not, but I can guarantee you that it will make him a better person"
