Let’s be honest, if we win our game in hand over the Dippers we’ll be ahead of them and the Chavs and Dippers still have to play each other, that really is a six pointer and the battle for 4th will play out between them. We need to concentrate on winning our matches and finish as high as possible. We need to be looking ahead not behind.

Echoing what's been said above, let's push on.

Also, let's hammer some teams badly so they are scared of us next yearM

Petty, but I hope WBA are not down by the time we play them and we fuck them over and hope they disappear into a black hole and don't come back again! Couple seasons ago they took great pleasure in telling every cunt and their dog that they fecked up our title challenge, what goes round comes round.....prick McLean goes with them.

I'd be surprised if McLean's playing in the Championship next season. I reckon a bottom-6 or newly-promoted team would take a chance on him, there won't be many cheaper options with Premier League experience posing his kind of direct attacking threat and general tenacity. And if they don't it's hardly a secret that he'd love to play for Celtic at some point.

I don't think top four is secured, and I don't think that going out of the way to rest our star players equates to maximum freshness. The semi-final is more a question of whether Poch can use a squad to win vs. pragmatism.

My mate who supports Man Utd was really pissed off with yesterday's result; surprisingly so. I then looked at who they have to play next, and the penny dropped - they are properly looking over their shoulder at us and are right to be worried.

Fcuk settling for fourth - we all know which team in North London see that as the height of ambition. That's not what Spurs is about!
I was upset to read that City are going to put out a weakened squad for the Manchester Derby to concentrate on the CL. That means City may need to win our game at Wembley and United may win the Derby.

I think priorities now have to be FA Cup, 2nd, get Kane back on track for the golden boot, developmental minutes.

At the end of the day a few matches at the end of a season isn’t going to help Foyth all that much, especially if you’re lifting the foot off the gas and there’s no pressure - he trains all week with some of the best in the world, 90 minutes against a shit Stoke in a dead rubber isn’t going to boost his development.

However, we talk all the time about developing the squad mentally. Well, chasing down United and catching them from 4 points down with 7 matches to play may well give them the mental edge in doing the same for a title in the coming years.

But in the end I’d rather win the FA Cup and finish 4th at this point in the season, than 2nd and not win.

They fuckin did aswell for all the bollox of the chavs and spam bleating on it was this pile of cunt that fucked us up

We only need 4 wins and a draw to be 100% sure, and that’s only if Chelsea win all their 7 [ which they won’t ] 3 wins should see us get top 4.
I want to see us throw everything we have into winning the FACup, I would like to finish above Liverpool but I would like us to win the cup more..

What a season it would be if we finished top London club, made both Chelsea and Woolwich play Thursday football and beat Chelsea in the FA cup final.
I'll agree with that. And i am going to say i reckon 2nd AND winning the cup is possible.
I just want to go to another open top bus parade.

Poch isn't going to rest players, rotate players, etc. Even if we couldn't climb two places (which we clearly can) he would expect full commitment to winning each and every game and changing players around doesn't really ensure that.

We are already ahead of Liverpool if we win our game in hand, which is away to Brighton on Tue 17th April.

Assuming we beat Stoke at the weekend and Utd get no more than a draw against City, Utd will find themselves only 1 or 2 points ahead of us. We can absolutely get second place in the league and if the form table is anything to go by, we will.
