With Top 4 now all but secured, is it time to expose some players to a few more League minutes and rotate the likes of Eriksen, Kane, Dele etc. to ensure optimum freshness for the Cup?

Personally, I feel the upcoming League games are an excellent time to give KWP, Foyth and Lucas significant minutes.

Or is it more important to keep this momentum up and play the main boys as often as usual?

Considering that Poch's sides have previously ''gassed'' come season's end, what are your thoughts?

Wrong forum. Admin Admin could you move to Tottenham please old boy

EDIT - Cheers

Until top 4 is secured, I'd like the best squad we have out there.

Don't you get more money the higher you place also?
Only 4m difference between 2nd and 4th. I think in the long run, the opportunity to get KWP, Foyth and Lucas may benefit us more than that.

Even using those players, I expect us to win the majority of our games. Especially since 4th is automatic qualification for CL, it may be worth it.

That said, I really want to come above Liverpool, the greatest side in history ever and ever.

I'm not opposed to throwing in Foyth and IMO Lucas should be an auto sub in the 70th minute every single game. He is going to be an integral part of our squad.

Although not there yet I firmly believe KWP will be better than both Aurier and Trippier therefore all in favour of him getting a run out against Stoke, WBA and Watford

We only need 4 wins and a draw to be 100% sure, and that’s only if Chelsea win all their 7 [ which they won’t ] 3 wins should see us get top 4.
I want to see us throw everything we have into winning the FACup, I would like to finish above Liverpool but I would like us to win the cup more..

What a season it would be if we finished top London club, made both Chelsea and Woolwich play Thursday football and beat Chelsea in the FA cup final.

I wouldn't be opposed to see someone like KWP or Lucas get more time currently as I think they'd be fine, but until the position is secured, I'd rather not mess around with others like Foyth.

No is the answer.

We need to be full foot on the pedal, run thtough the tape and like last season but this time hopefully with a Cup final to look forward to.

I get the idea of giving players game time but maintaining momentum is crucial in my opinion.

Well, we haven’t qualified for anything yet, and we still have a weeks rest between (most) games between now and the end of the season so I see no reason to rest anyone.

Keeping the squad fit, fresh and sharp is what we need to do. You don’t “rest players” because we have “nearly qualified for the CL”. You finish the job.

Other players will get minutes for sure, but do you think Harry Kane will want to be rested? No chance. He’ll want to be chasing Salah for the golden boot. Dele won’t want to be rested as he’s out there to prove a point.

So many of our players are in form and doing well it’s pointless to start resting and unnecessarily rotating. This is real football, not Football Manager or FIFA18.

Disagree=all has been said above?

There wasn’t any evidence of the players being tired last season as they were spanking goals in all over the place.

The season before, I’d suggest it was mental and not physical fatigue that struck us down.

So no, keep the foot down until the end.

I would love to finish top 3 for the third season in a row. That would be an immense achievement, and show how much we have developed. Obviously any place in the top four gets us into the Champions League, which is the main thing, but I'll look back at the season a lot more fondly if we end up second or third.

My mate who supports Man Utd was really pissed off with yesterday's result; surprisingly so. I then looked at who they have to play next, and the penny dropped - they are properly looking over their shoulder at us and are right to be worried.

Fcuk settling for fourth - we all know which team in North London see that as the height of ambition. That's not what Spurs is about!

Right now and although the talk yesterday was about us or Chelsea occupying the last Champions League spot, we are right in the mix for 2nd.

Conte can talk all day long about going for 4th but he ain't going to be at Stamford Bridge next season.

Chelsea have still to play Liverpool and I honestly don't see confidence in their squad.

Willian could be off and Hazard is going to be concentrating on the World Cup and a move to Real Madrid.

There is no way either that Liverpool won't be affected by the City 2 legged affair.

If we win on Saturday, not easy but we are on our game at present, then as a minimum get 7 points out of 21 I think that will get us a top 4 slot

15 points and more will mean top 3 and then who knows.

Nah, I want us to finish above the likes of Liverpool and United.

We aren't in the race for top four anymore. We're simply in the race for runners up.
