It was strange taking Dele off. Poch quite often does this, leaves on the player who is clearly having a poorer game.
In retrospect maybe we should have just played the usual formation, changing things for 3 at the back also a bit strange given we have not played that for a long time. Sonny could have started... usually he is much better as a starter I think.
Though his form has really dipped at a bad time unfortunately.
With regard to Lucas, okay he conceded possession but the team still had chances to defend better. We do look quite shakey at times defending corners or free-kicks.
They may have had only one attempt on target, 2 if you count Kane's miscue, but they seemed to cause us a fair amount of unease at the back, and I don't think we caused them enough ourselves. Toothless as you say.
We just don't know how to play against this type of football. Its usually a struggle for us. Teams know that unfortunately so I do feel they did have a game plan (how ever distasteful) and executed it pretty well. They restricted our chances, only 4 on target out of 14, and only 14 attempts is pretty poor. We only made 2 clear cut chances I think, which isn't good unless you are clinical.
We need a new keeper.

Such a disappointment. Our last away matches of the season have been a huge let down. Stoke was scratchy, this one and Brighton we just looked ineffective. Away support was immense IMHO. Lots of singing and trying to drag the team to a decent level.
