Match We can be heroes (again) Ajax versus Tottenham Hotspur CL Semi Final Wed 8th May

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's hard to fit in you know. At first I tried to be polite and constructive, but that just didn't work. So I am trying to be a prick and see if that works. At least we're on the same level then.
Why would any real supporter want to be on another clubs forum...personally in football terms I think you are a trolling bottom feeder who needs to sort himself out...im also guessing you donf really support Ajax...i support tottenham and the thought of going onto another teams scummy forum makes me feel sick...i have always had z soft spot for Ajax and in my youth when visiting have been to see them play.. But you have ended that admiration from afar you cretin...

Quick question lads... Where is gonna be the best place to watch the game in London if you haven't got a ticket to the Fighting Cock social??? Need a top atmosphere to celebrate reaching the final....

Because Ajax is on fire these weeks and they only keep getting better. And despite of playing a very bad second halve last week, Spurs still created nothing. Tomorrow at home, our fans will raise them to new heights.

Not one single fuck is given how great Ajax have been in your shitty league. The worst team in our league would stand a very good change of winning your league if they were in it, so it means absolutely nothing. You're a stupid cunt. We figured you out last week, you won't be getting another chance and you've already blown it. You're a stupid cunt. Both our strikers were out, tomorrow Son plays. He would score a million goals a season in your shitty league. You're a stupid cunt. We don't care if you're at home, that just means the tension can be cut with a knife every time we are on top. You're a stupid fucking cunt. Fuck off.

It was:

“I quite like the Fighting Cock, but it’s a bit like being shouted at in a pub”

I've always thought a forum battle against supporters of the same team would be hilarious, intriguing and cringeworthy all at the same time.

But we have an ace up our sleeve Bluedog
Someone who doesn't even support spurs 😂

Been thinking and playing Son is obviously the right way to go, no question, but I think we should start with Llorente as well. We saw last week that they can't handle the physicality and aren't very good defending crosses/set pieces. The combination of pace and power/height will give us maximum options.

Last 20 minutes if we need a goal. He hasn't got 90 minutes of the kind of intensity we need.

Lloris
KWP Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Sissoko Dier Eriksen
Lucas Dele Son

Subs:
Vorm
Davies
Trippier
Skipp
Wanyama
Llorente
Lamela

Press them high up the pitch ruthlessly and try to force them into making mistakes and let our danger men do the rest! I’m going for 1-2 Spurs. COYS!!!

That sounds like Shakespeare, you have talent, my friend.

I'm a Leicester fan who posts here occasionally, and over the past 3 years I've often winced when other fans come onto this forum. As you seem like a decent chap and I like the dutch, here's a couple of hints if you want to stay.

1. Remember whose forum it is, and that nobody invited you onto it. Should you survive the initial onslaught you can find yourself having a perfectly friendly exchange with posters who are ripping your club apart in the post below. Which is entirely reasonable as it's their place to say whatever they like. You just have to let it go.

2. Don't assume this is like other forums. The members are extremely aggressive, and relish an argument (or cunt-off, as it's known). They particularly like someone new to argue with as for a brief period it gives them the chance to pause their arguments with each other. "I come in peace" won't get you very far, quite the reverse. They don't care if you come in peace, or in anger, or at all.

3. The general rule is that they all hate every other club, everyone who plays for every other club, and everyone who supports every other club. I think this comes from the rather surprising fact that every other big club in London hates them more than each other, and this has given them a "get the first punch in" mentality.

4. Knowing when to fuck off is very important. It's unlikely they will want to exchange pleasantries with other fans when they've just been beaten by West Ham, for example. At these times they really want to abuse each other as horribly as possible. I still remember Joe Clash giving me this advice on one occasion and have looked back on this several times and wondered at how polite he was, given that I've never known anyone who has managed to find so many unique ways to tell someone to fuck off.

5. Don't get involved in a feud. These guys are top-level feuders, who would make the McCoys and Hatfields look like amateurs.

However.....if you do manage to stay the course, I would say without hesitation that this is the best football forum out there. The majority of posters are bright, self-aware, and can be blindingly funny. Extreme views are welcomed, but intelligent ones are better received. I don't post on any other forums, and not much on here, but I read it frequently because it's engaging and never fails to make me laugh. Despite the aggression, and the jaw-droppingly awful things that are said at times, I've seem members of this forum help each other through some terribly times with enormous humanity and sensitivity. The one (I think) regular female member (the delightful Mrs Perryman) is treated with huge respect but never condescended to. And most of them know their football and are happy to engage once they trust that you're not here to take the piss or waste their time.

So, if you want to stick around and have a decent exchange of views, follow the advice above and that's what you'll get, eventually (!). But trust me, it's worth it.

I see your point, but he completely destroys any chance we have of a quick build up or counter attack. I'd rather send our CB's forward to try and win headers on set pieces and still be able to attack during the run of play.

After watching last night's game where Klopp lucked out by not having to play Salah maybe we can learn from that.

Just play one up top - Son - and pack the midfield with five players

Lloris
Tripps - Toby - Jan - Danny
Eriksen - Moussa - Dier - Dele - Lamela
Son

The risk of course is that Dier will be overrun ... but it's going to need a few risks

If we can win 5-4 that will do nicely .....
