Although I've rated this as a like, I'm regretting not going out there anyway.

At least partly for attacking normal Italian fans which caused a lot panic and chaos inside the ground.I have never looked too much into Heysel (or Hillsborough) because I feel it's something really sensible and people should not die at a football game, but honestly were Liverpool fans really at fault for Heysel?
On the night, yes. They kicked off and a wall collapsed and killed people.I have never looked too much into Heysel (or Hillsborough) but honestly were Liverpool fans really at fault for Heysel?
Yep.They genuinely believe they are every neutral fans choice to win the league this year.As someone who wasn't alive in the 70s or 80s, i can confirm that you need no experience of Liverpool in their heyday in order to detest them with a passion.
Liverpool fans are the most smug, sanctimonious, fart-huffing twats in football. They deserve stuff because they are liverpool, and as a football club they are morally better than all the others. Young fans who have never seen them win a title exude this as much as any of the older ones. And the media bias is obvious, blatant and skin-crawlingly irritating. I came to realise all these things in the 2013/14 season, where the media were noshing off liverpool from day one and instantly calling them title contenders (they do this every time liverpool open the season with a win).
The worst thing is, Liverpool fans don't understand why everyone hates them. They genuinely cannot fathom how anyone could dislike their club. That is their entire problem.
The worst thing is that that attitude creates ridiculous belief and atmosphere, as seen yesterday.
And we all love you, Mrs P.
Yeah, believing they're they're going to win something translates to them having a better chance of winning something. As irritating as they are, their attitude plays a huge part in them pulling off results like they did yesterday. Only Man Utd have had similar belief at any point in my memoryThe worst thing is that that attitude creates ridiculous belief and atmosphere, as seen yesterday.
I was explaining this to a young un(i say young,he is 30...) at work today. The media love in back then was unbearable, and you know its still there ,just waiting to go all over board once again .
I remember after Heysel, the club made a statement blaming the trouble of national front Supporters of West ham and Chelsea...Not one person in the media picked them up on it. And the club have never retracted that comment. They were beyond criticism over anything.

Pure shite.Desperately in need of Dele to step it up a gear tonight though. What does everyone think of his recent performances?
It pains me to say but as a fanbase we could really use that kind of attitude. Belief from our players is the only reason we are still in this champions league at all.
Probably right. That wasn't a magpie funeral - they were just testing to see if it was dead enough to eat yet.

It's unbelievable - we're not even on the front page of BBC sport website.......Go online and there is very little about this game. My timeline is absolutely full of Liverpool and EL semis for tomorrow. Only one's pushing out any info in the media is Spurs, Ajax twitter feeds and Alisdair Gold!! It is tonight right, I haven't got the weeks mixed up?
