Match We can be heroes part two Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester united UEFA Cup final. Bilbao 21st May

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Hope they come up with something a bit left-field for the final, 3-5-2 with Vic, Romero, Danso, VDV, Porro, Bent, Biss, whoever, Udogie Solanke, Richarlison. All our big lads on the field, Porro spamming crosses, maybe a goal from a corner. Son from the bench. Don't see what midfield we can put out in a 4-3-3 that gives us our strongest chance.
solanke and richy in the box with the rest of them working the ball wide to get it into the box is the only way we can score goals with what we have left. thats food and drink to richy, his biggest strength in football. solanke is decent at it too! no creative spark in the side. anything but this will be a painful watch because we dont have the footballers to try and play fancy stuff.

it would all have to come down the right side. since udogie has been here hes shown that we cant rely on him to put dangerous crosses in. id actually rather see spence on the left. if kulu was fit id rather see him on the left side of midfield putting the ball in too, hed be far more useful doing that then trying to bundle his way through bodies.

Cannot believe that Ange played Kulu against Palace. Who is going to play playmaker now ?
Maybe move Porro forward and play Gray at right back ?

Uggggh why does everyone keep saying this, it's doing my head in... 🤦🏾‍♀️

Kulu was mad out of form and still wasn't fit, he needed minutes in his legs to get match fit.

The reason he got injured was because of an OTT physical challenge by Marc Guehi, it wasn't a recurrence from a previous injury or a hamstring injury...it was a freak incident.

Problem with that is that we only have Porro who you'd have any faith in to provide a consistent supply.

It could work, but could also be incredibly easy to nullify.

Has anybody ever seen Udogie or Johnson actually put a cross in? I'm not counting cutbacks here, as they require someone from midfield to play a ball through into space, and everyone who can do that is out.

Kane never showed up in huge games. Not all his fault of course but he never stepped up.

This is Sons chance to put himself as a club legend if he can step up and win this game.
This is such garbage analysis. Harry Kane has been a prolific striker for the last ten years and constantly gets described in this trite manner.
1. He's a flat track bully and only scores against lesser teams
2. He never shows up in finals.

This errant stupidity ignores a rather glaring fact. Top sides are top sides because they stop people scoring against them. They have the best available defenders and the best available goalkeepers. Unsurprisingly when Harry Kane is on the other side, he gets more attention and often more players tackling him, blocking his runs or just outright fouling him. Other free scoring strikers also have worse stats against the top teams - guess why!
Point 2 is pretty much the same answer, the finalists in most cup finals are the better teams as well and have usually got to the final by not losing games (less tournaments with an opening league format) - because of the reasons above.

So stop trotting out this myth that Harry Kane suddenly becomes a piss poor player in cup finals or against league leaders, it's a nonsense.

Ange might actually stumble on some balance in the side if we play Sarr Biss and Bentancur in the middle and let Porro and Udogie fly forwards.

We have Solanke as an out ball as well and will press them very high up. It’s not like we’re going up against a low block side and need to have a 10 who can unlock a defence - goals in this one are far more likely to come from mistakes.

I’m still very confident, unusually so
