We have an injured Madders which is almost as good.

If you play them together, midfield weakens considerably, and they're always good for a goal to the opposition. We've seen this plenty of times though Sarr is a bit better.Whats the alternative? I tried to create a plan with Son in the 10 but as anothe roster pointed out, it quickly turns into a 442 or 424 as son won't have any midfield discipline. Neither will Moore or Odobert.
The only solution is Gray or Sarr playing beside Biss with Bentancur moving into the 10. On current form, Gray is not ready for the final so we are down to Sarr.
I kind of do, but also reckon it might be the best available option.I think this is what we’ll see, and tbh given the options I don’t hate the idea of Son at the 10. He hasn’t been effective at all on the wing, I’d prefer almost any of our other options there. I guess Bentancur could be another option but I don’t know who you then pair with Bissouma.
pretty misleading from what he actually said in the press conference tbf. A reporter asked if radical solutions like Dom playing deeper or Porro playing attacking midfield was on the table to which Ange replied that you go through all the possible scenarios. Ange didn't specifically say he wouldn't rule out playing Porro there.
