really awful!Update on Raul Jimenez
Wolves have released the following update on striker Raul Jiménez, who suffered a fractured skull during the early stages of last night’s win at Woolwich.www.wolves.co.uk
Sounds very similar to what happened to Ryan Mason.
I am opting for pessimism here in hopes of being positively surprised. But I think his career might be done. Ryan's career was ended by a similar clash of heads and he was a fair few years younger than Raul and also in a position that doesn't include as many headers.really awful!
Hope he can fully recover but you'd expect a lengthy spell on the sidelines. He's a striker who'd be expected to regularly head the ball, you'd fear for his future.
Poor bloke.

Hopefully I am wrong but we might have seen the last of Jimenez. Which is a shame because he is a proper good striker.
Depends on how it effects his brain/the nerves going to and from it. That stuff is tricky.Back next season hopefully. I think Mason is the exception rather the rule. Far more players return after a fractured skull than have to retire.
He can't really wear a rugby cap like CzechI'd be surprised he came back.
I'd be surprised he came back.
In the very long term maybe.Poor bastard. Hope he fully recovers. Obviously.
Anyone else thinking this will lead further down the road towards no heading the ball?
WTF....this is very very odd. Is there a chance Lazio never had the right to sell to Wolves?A story well worth keeping an eye on...
Lazio accounts list payments for Pedro Neto to wrong club
Lazio have said their financial department mistakenly listed two payments worth €11m for Pedro Neto to Sporting Lisbon rather than Sporting Bragawww.theguardian.com
No chance according to both Braga and Lazio who both confirm the sale (it's in the article)WTF....this is very very odd. Is there a chance Lazio never had the right to sell to Wolves?
