You're hopeless. Benta is crap- literally did two slow turns and passed a ball directly out of play. And you think that was better than Gray who no one can even remember making a definite mistake.
You judge things on lack of mistakes. That's how low we have sunk looool.

Gray was atrocious. Look at the positions he took up first half, he didn't want the ball. You can accept that but I would rather a player try and fail then not try at all.

Benta was trash- Palhinha would have been a better CDM choice, as always... Gray played fine and was good in set pieces as usual. He's been one of our better CMs lately.

Hahahahahahahahhahahahahah

You're definitely a WUM (that or you've rated Gray highly so have to defend him at every opportunity moving forward).

Gray was "fine" today is the biggest heap of pig shit comment I've read today on here. His performances are only being tolerated because we forked out 40m on him....a youth player plays how he has been and he will be dumped back to the u21s in record breaking time.

He was not at all the reason we lost today. End of. Youve got some agenda against him goin on.

Because he's lightweight and offers no help in set pieces except delivering corners. He's not dominant enough attacker to offset his physical and defensive deficiencies.

What exactly do you think he brings to the team in big games like today?
Seems like a btec Lo Celso to me. Gets in good positions and looks like he is about to do something good before holding onto the ball too long or screwing up the final pass. Very weak physically and just don’t see him ever pulling up trees in this very competitive league.

Well right now he’s at AFCON with Senegal.

In truth, I’m not sure what he brings other than high energy and a press. Doesn’t do anything badly but doesn’t really do anything terribly well either. Not sure where he fits into the midfield. Don’t think he’s good enough for a UCL club.
Yeah he's great off the ball and has a fantastic engine so is a useful option in the occasional game as busy-body covering ground, but do you really want to play Sarr regularly either in the pivot or as a CAM? Not really. His technique is iffy, not a good short-passer, no creativity. He's basically all legs with some occasional box-crashing thrown in.

OK as a squad player but if we get a decent offer we should cash in and open up the squad spot. Too many kids getting not enough minutes atm.

Think with Xavi it will come down to who we replace Frank with (whether its soon or in the summer).

If we bring in a manager whose style suits Xavi and we can get the best out of him, there could be a player in there. The lack of physicality is concerning but I'm definitely not writing him off yet. Hard to look good in this current Spurs set-up, especially as an attacker.

Based on performances in the SPL.

Based on performances in the league that Xavi thrived in.

.........This is just 'the next guy is better' syndrome.
Unfortunately it's pretty clear that if we had held on to these players this season we would be saying the same things about them that would be said about Odobert and Danso and others.

When shit hits the fan it's easy to say well we should be playing the youngsters, but in reality it would make little difference. They would not be the difference makers in this team.
