Would need to get rid of Frank first. He’s not going to get to those levels with him.Okay, so Simons can hopefully emulate that, which would give us one hell of a player.

Agree MacchVery silly of him to post this. If you can help it, never let your opponents know where you're hurting. Now giving the opposition a reason to give him an extra kick or stomp.

Another player whose game is negatively affected from
- The absence of a quality passer of a CM: One that would regularly link him up with Romero among others while sparing him from having to drop this deep to get the ball.
- Players that cannot find him even on the occasions where he drops [extremely] deep and is wide open.
------
The sequence starts with a throw in.
The pass can certainly be made here: The angle is there + Simons is free enough from his defender to make the attempt worthwhile.
Fine, whatever.
How about passing him the ball so that he can exploit the dotted area, by releasing Udogie from the left after a quick turn with the ball for example ?

That's surely a simple lob pass to the dotted area there. The margin for error is massive.
Wait, there's more.

That's the infamous RKM sequence by the way.

This leads to a turnover as you can see; but that's not really the point here. Quickly delivering a forward pass when you actually spot one the way Romero does here, instead of pondering until the opportunity is no longer there, will lead to far better outcomes in the long run.
-------------Am I convinced already that he has shown enough to assume confidently that there's a proper player in there, waiting to be unearthed? No.
Do external circumstances including but not exclusively the ones mentioned above hold him back noticeably? Yes.

wasting him? what should he be doing then?
He's whiny brat tbh.His nan would be more use in the PL.
We should start playing her.
cant do the basics well enough, sloppy shit. hes not a 10 to me, more of an average 8 as he does get stuck in to be fair. not good enough to be a true 10, youve got to get them through balls/passing, right consistently to be a 10 imo.Meant to be a key player but can't hack it against West Ham or Burnley
Right now he can’t even get the simple passes right. Big decision to be made at the end of the season with him, I’m really struggling to see him as a PL player.
