You're thinking about it?

Today I learned that Tanguy has won two trophies while out on loan and is on track for his third.

All you have to do is leave Spurs and BAM you win something.

Winksy, Lucas Moura, Davinson Sanchez, Aurier too FFS.

I can see a thread about Poch trending right now. What people forget is that one of the BEST things about Poch was he culled the twats who didn't deserve to wear the shirt. As much as I dislike Ndombele for robbing a living he will never reach the same level as Adebayor in my book. We released him and should do the same with Ndombele. There are hidden costs to keeping these twats around.

There’s a massive list of players that left Spurs and won trophies. Bale, Modric, Sheringham, Berbatov, Carrick, all won stuff. Players we certainly didn’t want to leave.

The players you mentioned are in the second group to do so. The list is finished by players who you’ve hardly heard of.

It’s often used on here as a stick to beat the club with. Even though we were utterly delighted to see the back of almost every player on the list. And as if winning the Turkish League means anything at all.

I know all this.

But it's still ridiculous/hilarious how this trend never ends.

P s. Carlos Vinicius has 2 trophies since Spurs. :dier:

Let’s be honest if Postecoglou had won it would be considered to be up there with climbing Everest and discovering the atom by some on here.

“In his second season…..”.

Winners play in the champions league. Tend to do ok.
Turkey in the top 10 UEFA coefficient

Got to be a higher standard than the Scottish premier league, I’m not even going to bother comparing it to the kangaroo league or the Nissan micra league.

Definitely a higher standard than the Scottish League. Doubt anyone would argue it wasn’t.

I still maintain N'Dombele was never that bad a player. It was horrific recruitment. He just couldn't defend, was put in DM, and was over-priced. We should not have signed him without a better DM first. You can see all of the defensive stats before players sign. His team was terrible at defending and he played in Ligue 1. Our team was also terrible at defending. Even Mourinho played him alone in number 6 in a diamond and expected us to win the league. It was insanity. Just buy a fucking expensive defensive mid or put a centre back there if that is what you need. N'Dombele was a specialist luxury player and it never fitted what we were lacking in. It still bothers me that the management and recruitment and owners and sporting directors don't get more blame for signing him. It's like when Everton signed a load of number 10s and couldn't play them anywhere.
