DNIPRO – EUROPA LEAGUE – 27TH FEB 2014, 8:05PM, WHITE HART LANE

We’ve agreed with the Club that 1882 will be in block 35 for the Europa League game against Dnipro at White Hate Lane. The game takes place on Thursday 27th February. Kick off is 8:05pm. The price of the ticket is £20.

We ask that those attending as a part of the 1882 movement to buy towards the back of block, and then gradually buy downwards towards the front as it sells out. Previously we’ve sold the entire block so don’t worry if you can’t buy immediately as the atmosphere carries down towards the front of the stand.

FULHAM – FA YOUTH CUP – 30TH JAN 2014, 7PM, VICTORIA ROAD STADIUM (DAG AND RED)

Victoria_Road_Dagenham_and_Redbridge_FC_24We’ve been drawn in the FA Youth Cup 4th round against Fulham. You may remember that we played Middlesbrough in the 3rd round at Leyton Orient, 1882 was in attendance and the youth players reacted incredibly. We want to go again and offer them the same incredible support they enjoyed at Brisbane Road.

This game will be at Dagenham and Redbridge’s Victoria Ground. We will be talking to the Club about what stand they would like us to be in, but given that three of the four stands are traditional terracing we’re hoping to be able to stand unhindered, offering albeit on a small scale an atmosphere similar to that against Arsenal at Underhill last season.

We’ll be meeting in Aldgate East at 4pm, leaving towards Dag and Red stadium from 6pm. If Victoria Road is closer to you then we’ll be in the Social Club at the stadium for a swift pint before kick off.

Watching our youngsters in Vietnam on You Tube showed me what an exciting bunch we have coming through the ranks. To play in front of 18 thousand against Japan then a even bigger crowd for the host game must have been a great learning curve in there early development. The lads won the final game 3-2 against a lively Vietnam side who could all dribble and run this was a tremendous result and the stand out player for me is a lad i first seen on Sky in the school boy shield he stood out then Joshua Onomah. This lad glides across the pitch effortlessly and can shoot and pick out one of his team mates in a flash he wont be long from knocking on Tims door if he keeps progressing at the same rate. Others who looked good Oduwa big lad with a fair bit dribbling skill he looks like he has four gears he go faster the longer he runs and can score reminds me young Chris Waddle. The others i think will make it Akidayini Winks Kyle Walker Peters Ogilvie Dombaxe Kane Vincent Young Luke Mcgee GKeeper,
