The FA Cup semi-final is coming closer with each passing day and Spurs’ fans are starting to feel the excitement that an FA Cup London derby brings. Many of them compare the excitement of this occasion to getting access to an amazing casino promotional code.

Mauricio Pochettino and his players will no doubt feel the same, and FA Cup matches always have that magic about them even without the added allure of the fierce London rivalry.

In addition, Tottenham’s current form further adds to the excitement of the match, as the Spurs seem capable of beating anyone these days. But who are the players who should definitely start on 22nd April?

Dele Alli

The young English international has already broken several records when it comes to players in his age group. In fact, he beats his rivals by full 3 years when you compare him to players who have scored at least 15 goals in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
This form has led Gareth Southgate to consider Alli as a mainstay in his England squad, and there have already been whispers of him joining Real Madrid or Barcelona next season. For example, Gareth Bale recently mentioned just how happy he would be if Dele Alli followed in his footsteps and joined him in the Spanish capital.

When he starts against Chelsea, it is to be expected that he will once again be pushed further up the pitch to target the vertically challenged Azpillicueta in the air, just like he did in Tottenham’s last game against Chelsea. In that match he was the scorer of both goals and Pochettino will be hoping that his star student will be able to replicate that feat on this occasion as well.

Vincent Wanyama

Vincent Wanyama has been the only midfielder this season to completely outplay N’Golo Kante in a direct duel. The Frenchman was in Vincent’s pocket for the whole match when Chelsea lost at White Hart Lane in January.

Recently he has been nursing a lower back injury, but Pochettino has been quite positive about the Kenyan’s recovery and we should expect to see him in the starting line-up, most likely paired-up with the excellent Mousa Dembele.

Harry Kane

Spurs fans will be happy to hear that Kane has recovered ahead of his scheduled date and will probably start the match on Wembley instead of the hopeless Vincent Janssen. He came on as a substitute in Tottenham’s match against Watford and in the 30 minutes that he had he got some important match fitness.

Mauricio Pochettino will definitely be super careful with his star striker until the FA Cup match starts, but when it does expect to see England’s best striker fully unleashed at Conte’s defence.

Kane is one of the best EPL strikers in recent years and this season was bound to be his best one before his unfortunate injury struck. Now that he is back to full fitness however, big things are expected from him once again and we all feel that he will deliver.
