The Champions League final may not have been the result we were after, however it still cannot overshadow the pride we collectively feel for this club. To get to the pinnacle of club football, the right way, without spending exorbitant money in this modern football climate shows the ambition of the team and manager. I never would have imagined my club playing the Champions League final. It is something I used to joke about, just to get a rise from fellow friends who supported other, more ‘elite’ clubs.
