EURO 2020 Bingo: What Will Happen Before It Comes Home…

It’s coming home isn’t it? When Harry Kane sealed the deal on Tuesday night there was a real sense of relief and an even bigger sense of belief as Gareth Southgate’s men defeated the Germans and left themselves on a clear pathway to the Euro 2020 Final.

Of course, this is England, so it’s never that simple. In fact, there will of course still be plenty of twists and turns along the way. So, to add a bit of fun to the periods where we’ll have our heads in our hands, and during those down days between games, we’ve taken inspiration from the many bingo sites UK wide and come up with a series of circumstances we expect to check off between now and the final…

Harry Kane will grab a brace

We all know what happens when Harry Kane grabs one goal, a flurry follows and the Quarter Finals are set up nicely for him to really put his mark on the tournament. He’s a man that just loves to score goals and the Ukraine provides him with a good opportunity to do so.

The Three Lions have done well to not concede so far and aside from a few minor scares have been relatively comfortable at the back. However, England never does things the easy way and we can certainly see the Ukraine causing a problem and getting a shock goal leaving us with it all to do.

Boris Johnson to do another embarrassing celebration

Off the pitch, plenty of famous faces have been showing their support, from Ross Kemp and his rather bizarre Twitter videos, to Prince William cheering at Wembley, and then Boris Johnson doing whatever the heck he did in the middle of a function.

We expect he’ll be at it again should England qualify for the Semi Finals too. It’s something we’ll mark off a Euros bingo card, but in all honesty we’d just like to mark it out of our lives.

Gareth Southgate to “overcome his demons”

A win over Germany say Gareth Southgate receive redemption according to pundits and fans all over the country, and get through the Semi-Final and they will be mentioning it all over again after the man as a player missed in a Semi-Final shootout.

Of course, win in the Final and he’ll become a national treasure, and most likely be knighted.
